Ahh haaa

That's the real trick dude

learning to tune a setup is more important then just driving wattage into it

If it was me, for clouds I would use some 30g ribbon wire ( I think 30 would work OK) and build (2) 1 ohm coils for .5 ohms

If you have reg 28 go for about .5 .6 on a single coil and it will rip.

I personally don't use lower then 28 on a mechanical. You start running into the too much wire to get hot problem

Don't experiment with this!
The only reason I guessed your problem correctly is I have experienced the same effect from HE2 batteries rumored to be the same batteries as the MXJOs and builds lower than they will fire for an extended period of time. You folks are just better off believing me on this one.

So not all batteries will fire any build on any mech mod.

Be safe, test you builds before you vape them!

I think if I were you I wouldn't go building anything further until you get an ohm reader, download an ohms law calculator app to your phone or tablet and find a gauge wire you intend to use and find out the resistance properties of that wire and use the steam engine or something to aid in building a safe yet effective build and it isn't all about the coil so much as positioning and wicking the coil that will get you clouds I can build a 1.0 ohm build and cloud chase the temperature of the vapor won't be as hot but the amount of vapor will still hang in there with other lower builds maybe not as flavor saturated is all. Building blind is asking for trouble the cost of an eleaf ohm meter is a heck of a lot less than reconstructive surgery of your face and hand IMO.
