Lol, ok, I know there is no such thing! At least from V4L...but here is my dilemma. I'm going to the river with some friends next month and I don't know what I'm going to do about vaping. There will be drinking, so I will need nicotine! For those unfamiliar with the term "going to the river" it is a group of people tubing down a river. You could float the river for hours on end without stepping on dry ground. I'm considering buying some nicorette, but I would much rather vape. Does anyone have suggestions on how this could be done? Maybe a waterproof case with my batts and cartos inside? How do you think saran wrap would work? I could stick a plastic bag over my head!! Hmmm...this could get dangerous! If you know of any well made, good sized waterproof cases please let me know!

Make a long (necklace length) lanyard and you'll be find. I float the Boise all summer long and never lost a battery. Just use an Auto Battery and stick the Ash Cap end into the carto holder of the Lanyard. This way you can take a draw whenever and not worry about setting it down. Just make sure to bring some sort of water proof container for everything else or should you decide to go swimming. You know how it is being a river pirate...everything in the raft gets wet.

Example of what I'm talking about. Got this one at a waterpark.

Harmony: That orange container that Brandi posted--those work well. My husband and I were canoeing the Current River in Missouri when we still smoked and we had our cigs in one of those. Well, we hit a cross current and dumped. Our cigs stayed dry through it all, the only thing really damaged was our egos as we have done a lot of white water rafting on some big rivers without dumping, and that little Current River beat our butts.

Yeah. These float!! And there's a long string that u can put around your rope. I have 5 of these that I collected when I was a smoker if u want one. Just pm me. Wouldn't cost ya a dime!! ;-) if u find something better, it won't hurt my feelings. Just trying to help my new family. Can't contribute much, but I'll try! ;-)

Please forgive me for the interuption here. I just want to say, Brandi honey, you may not feel you can contribute much, but you already have:) Asking questions and receiving answers has helped others who wanted to know the same things & maybe didn't ask. I for one have learned more about the batteries because of your questions and the information you received:)
Ok, back to the topic at hand...Regular scheduled programing already in progress.....:laugh:

In Cali and surrounding areas "going to the river" means (at least in my mind) a slightly different thing. Going to the river means going to the Colorado River and boating or using watercraft. Theres many lakes along the river as well.

I guess we could raft down some areas for smooth rides or hit some rapids in some areas as well. When you said going to the river I thought you meant going boating or watercrafting at Lake Havasu or in the area.

A waterproof e cig sounds like a great idea...hint hint V4L.

Hope you can keep your E cig dry and have lotsa fun!

the plastic cig case and lanyard worked fine for me in Cancun 2 weeks ago. Was kayaking, snorkling, paddle boats and in the pool w/swim up bar. Had no problems, had my pv in the lanyard when it was fairly safe and put it in the case with my other stuf when I needed to. Just don't forget about it on the lanyard like I did(salt water very bad for e-cig).

Lol, I did worry about dropping it in the water, I will have to be extra careful! I've actually never gone to the river before so I don't know all the tricks. This will be my first time so I am WAY excited!! And it gives me a reason to buy more batts!!

And thanks for the lanyard idea Snow! Maybe I'll just buy one of the pretty ones from V4L and tie a knot in it to shorten it...those will work right? Maybe with XL batts there will be enough room to drag on it while it's in the sleeve?

Lol Chester, I'm sure going to the river can mean many things! That's why I specified. Here we normally go to the Rio Frio or Guadalupe. I will let ya'll know how it goes! I'm planning on having lots of fun :)
