I used to do whitewater rafting and always had my cigs with me in those waterproof containers that sporting good stores carry. I would always bring extras though cus there was also drinking involved

SFKID is right on the money! I have a larger one that I used for jet skiing and nothing in it ever got wet! You might want to stay away from black or blue in case it goes overboard, tough to see those colors. At night you could put a glow stick in it!

The plastic boxes work well, I use them for lots of different things when I go boating or to water parks, etc. Do remember to attach floats tho
