Hi fellow Vapers:)

I have smoked for 45+ years and am as close to full quiting as i have ever been.
Analog free for 46 days today.:toast:
I have found I really need flavor with my juices along with vapor and some TH.
I have had a ego and a ego PT for almost 3 weeks now.
I have 2 reg. ego Atty's-a Mega and a LR Mega-and 5 CE2's.
Have used 2 CE2's and even with my "favorite"--NO flavor to speak of.
I just don't get much flavor with most of my juices.
I have tried the following--From worst to best are:
(good vapors from all--just not much flavor or taste)

2 sample packs (10 flavors) from GotVapes--just a faint hint of the flavors.
6 flavors from MS T's-- somewhat more flavor but not much.
4 flavors from Backwoods brew--little more "Taste" but not a lot better.
3 from LF--2 are the only ones with very much flavor so far.
My somewhat " favorite "so far is LF's Cappuccino with RY4 a distant 2ND.
ALL the rest have VERY little flavor or taste .
Would adding some straight flavoring to my "stock" help????
Am running out of funds but need to salvage my stock of juice.
Any ideas my friends ????

Thanks Silver

Here's a couple of helpers, flavor-wise:

buy 100%PG e-liquids
• suck the vapor into your mouth and then with your mouth open inhale into your lungs and exhale through your nose
• french inhale
• yes, add straight flavoring
• in fact, many vendors will add extra flavor or even double the flavor as an option (I know freedomsmokeusa does that)

That's some ideas anyway: The 'flavor' is perceived by your nose, not your mouth so try to get the vapor to pass through your nose somehow. That'll help. :)

Hi Rosa,

I do french inhale most of time and exhale from nose .
Not sure what PG/VG % is on the samples.
Was going to request double flavor on next order when i have funds.
Need to try and salvage the juice i have first though.
Where is best place to get just flavoring ???
And how much do i need to add to get any kind of flavor?

Thanks , Silver

IMHO Ive recently come to find dripping gives me the best flavor, something I used to think I wouldnt try because of the hassle  Anyhow, as far as juice goes you could try using the PIF section here on ECF. Thats a really good way to try new stuff without spending more money buying yet MORE juice that you very well may not like, and others get the benefit of trying the things that you just didnt care for.

As far as vendors go, I cant recommend Vaporbomb highly enough.. great price, great flavor. I always do the 80/20 pg/vg ratio. The more pg the more throat hit and flavor you will get, whereas vg gives you more vapor and is good for those with a pg allergy. Hope this helped and good luck!

I can't recommend a flavor vendor because I've only used fsusa for flavors so far... but a normal e-juice recipe has, maybe, 10% flavoring in the bottle, so if you have a 10ml bottle that you want to flavor up, maybe add 0.5ml of flavoring to it and see how that goes.

It's just a trial and error thing as far as e-juice goes, I ordered e-juices from places that everyone loves and ended up just thinking they were yucky.. funny how every vaper in the forum can LOVE one vendor and leave it to me to hate every single flavor I tried of theirs. LOL!

I can't afford to try everything that I want to, but I figure I have the rest of my life to find my favorites. Right now I love Wyatt Earp and Pear (from freedomsmokeusa). The chocolate was good too, but Wyatt Earp is my all day vape: a flavorful tobacco flavor with caramelly undertones -- sort of like if cigarettes married caramel corn and had beautiful babies. Yumm.

PrimeVaping is another one you might want to try - they also offer any mix of PG/VG you want, and have the option for an extra shot of flavor. Your tastes will continue to change for a while, so don't order a 55-gallon drum of anything ;-)

Congrats on your 46 days and keep up the good work! It dawned on me today that this is the longest I've gone without a cigarette since I was 12 years old, and I started smoking during the Johnson administration.

Juices don't have much "flavor" if you are trying to taste it with your tongue. The tongue can only sense sweet, salty, bitter, sour and umami (MSG)

So for example, when you eat a cherry you taste a bit of sweet and sour on the tongue, see a cherry, have a juicy texture when you chew and you smell cherry.

Since you can't chew or see the flavor with ejuice you have to go by taste and aroma. The vapor of many juices have little taste on the tongue and you have to go by aroma alone. Some kinds of juices like fruit and dessert juices and some sweet tobaccos have a sweetness or sweet/sour on the tongue. In all cases, I think the aroma is the biggest clue. Cigarettes blow smoke all over you, foods can be smelled as you sit in front of the plate and as you bring them to your mouth. Ecigs don't do that. You have to remember to let your nose have some fresh vapor - let some escape your mouth occasionally before inhaling.

But you will find some juices have more flavoring, some vendors use heavier flavoring, some offer extra flavor and those juices will have more aroma.

You could add a bit more flavoring yourself. Add too much and it can end up flowery tasting.
OneStopDIYShop.com carry 3 brands of flavoring but is missing some flavorings
DIYFlavorShack.com is most pricy but has some other flavors
Perfumer's Apprentice site has all of their flavors and cheap shipping

Well...my opinion is that the flavors we are "expecting" from the names, do not
really come across as such. I have heard that with dripping, you get more of
a flavor expectation. The one day that I tried dripping (way to much trouble
for me) was the only day I really got a flavor hit from my chocolate and knew
it was chocolate.
I ordered a bunch of different flavors the first 30-45 days...but due to the
small variance in flavors, I now have only about 5 that I stick with.
There may be many who disagree, but this is what I have found in my
experiences.
I use cartos and some say you don't get as much flavor as with attys
and dripping. But like I said earlier, I'm just not into carring a juice bottle
around that much for dripping.

Three flavors that have helped me, red-hot cinnimon, anise and menthol drops.
Depending on what you want to doctor up, cinnimon works well with creamy flavors
menthol drops (straight menthol VERY STRONG!!) works with tobacco, nutty flavors and
anise will cover any other flavors as it's also strong.

The menthol also helps me with a stronger throat hit, although not really like a cig, and
as a smoker I could never stand to smoke menthol. Not sure why it's so different vaping,
but it is for me, and I've read posts from others non-menthol smokers that suddeny like it.

Here, there, everywhere!
Gourmet Vapor

I tried them and added triple flavor 80pg/20vg

Let's put it this way - I went back three times so far. Now I don't know what flavors you like - I do fruit flavors.

This is just my opinion but I like you have tried many suppliers and keep buying theirs. They do add on for triple flavor but if you google for a coupon code you can usually find one.

Another one that was good was My Freedom Smokes: Smoke Juice and they were good but again I do fruit flavors, they don't offer extra flavor on all their flavors.

This is all just my opinion but with extra flavor I have also dropped in nicotine content - you may not be ready to do that yet though!

Good luck - as they say one persons trash is another mans treasure. Speaking of which - which BWB flavors did you buy and do you want to sell them?

Dormouse,

All i know is--most juices i have --have vapor and little if any sensation of flavor -taste - or whatever you want to call it.
And the cappicinno from LF for sure has SOME flavor or taste OR whatever you want to call it.
Still not hitting the "Sweet spot" but a lot closer than the rest.
So far--the juice from the others are mostly vapor and little else.
And I agree--names and taste are not the same for the most part so far IMHO.
BUT--I will keep searching as my wallet allows :)

I had the same problem of the juice not tasting like much of anything when i first started. Then I found tastyvapor.us while the fruit flavors are not "fresh" fruit and taste artificial, most of there stuff tastes exactly like they say it will, and are the strongest tasting vapes i have found so far. They don't do samplers but if you find a juice you like from them you can get it for extremely cheap if you buy a doubler. Check there website for details.

This is a new company, but the owners have been respected members of ECF and of the PIF group for a long time. Their website should be completely functional some time this week. I haven't been disappointed so far. In the meantime, you can communicate with/order from the owner by PM.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...open-come-wet-carto-atty-ordering-thread.html

His website is : CandyPress When he gets through with the current problems, there will be an option for extra flavor.
