I had the same problem of the juice not tasting like much of anything when i first started. Then I found tastyvapor.us while the fruit flavors are not "fresh" fruit and taste artificial, most of there stuff tastes exactly like they say it will, and are the strongest tasting vapes i have found so far. They don't do samplers but if you find a juice you like from them you can get it for extremely cheap if you buy a doubler. Check there website for details.

I'll admit, Tasty Vapor's Atomic cinnacide was everything they said it would be. It's the only juice I've tried so far that was so juicy it made me want to gulp it when I vaped it. It was totally juicy, yummmmm...!!!!!!

Hi Silver!

Started smoking when Carter lost to Reagan and became old enough to have political opinions.

I've been told and think it's the case that we simply have dead taste buds that can't perceive anything more delicate than the tar we've bathed our tongues in for decades. I, too am of limited funds, but have bought from at least four vendors, one of which I ordered with triple flavor, extra throat hit, the works. Those two were the same as all the others, smelled pretty good, but at most a hint of flavor. I do all that inhaling/exhaling through the nose, but the tongue stays numb. I've been told that fruit flavors, which naturally is what I would like, are the mildest tasting, so I got some menthol and some Jarem Black. I really dislike menthol, mint, strong cinnamon candy, but was desperate to try. The menthol did bust through my numb tongue, even cleared out my sinuses! But I still don't like the taste, it's too much. The Jarem Black tastes like wet mold.
I am waiting for an order from Kick Bass and hope something happens. Despite the problems, I smoke half as much as before and it happened very quickly. I put out the cig and reach for the pv because it smells better, and my tongue doesn't dry out from the smoke and heat. I also don't burn holes into my bedding and clothes!
Bottom line for me is that I will continue to experiment as budget dictates. I think that some vendors charge too much for the juice; I use a tank and my oral fixation is severe. I am always sucking on something, went from stopping thumb sucking at 12 to smoking at 14. I think the tanks use a lot of juice, but my lr carto also uses a lot. I use the carto for severe nic cravings, and the tank for all day maintenance.
Good luck to you. TG:vapor:

Dormouse,

All i know is--most juices i have --have vapor and little if any sensation of flavor -taste - or whatever you want to call it.
And the cappicinno from LF for sure has SOME flavor or taste OR whatever you want to call it.
Still not hitting the "Sweet spot" but a lot closer than the rest.
So far--the juice from the others are mostly vapor and little else.
And I agree--names and taste are not the same for the most part so far IMHO.
BUT--I will keep searching as my wallet allows :)

the cappucino from LF tastes like dead, spot-on burnt popcorn. i left a review of how i didnt like the taste on the site as i do with all the stuff i get from them and they havent posted it on there leaving the overall rating a 10/10 when shopping. i was very, VERY disappointed with it. the burnt popcorn taste stayed in my atty for about 2 days too even after blowing it out.

I, too, have yet to find my "go to" flavor, though I have mostly vaped Hazelnut Coffee. At Day 25, I wonder when my taste buds will be completely adjusted to no longer smoking? I know this plays a big part in how I'm tasting things... Any thoughts from the more experienced?

• drink even more water
• try to alternate very different flavors (like haz. coff and menthol -- whatever two opposing tastes anyway)

that's all I've got. good luck :)

Thank you, Rosa! I'm drinking plenty of water (because I saw it posted on ECF) and it definitely helps! What I am curious about is when did your taste buds stabilize?

I second the Vapor renu suggestion. It's one of my very favorite vendors.....and one of the cheapest, too. You can order triple flavor if you want. Also, the have a great selection (again, really cheap) of flavorings. I make my own juice these days and use many of their flavorings.

Hey, Tankgirl.....I see you're in Tulsa. Me, too. Hi! Have you been to the Vapor Kings store in Sand Springs? I've been there about three times....it's really cool. But...they only have Dakang juice, so I don't buy my juice there. Got a tankomizer there yesterday.

I never had any of the taste/smell problems associated with smoking, I'm just repeating advice I've read about that seemed to work. :) Plus, in the beginning, after about a week of vaping I lost my sense of taste one day so I switched to a different flavor and it woke my taste buds right back up again.

Thanks tankgirl,

I agree on cost of juice, i would go with DIY if had more funds.
Someday maybe.

Yeah I agree some vendors charge too much. Buying 100mg-250 ml of nicotine, vg and pg from nicvape and flavors from onestopdiyshop and faeires finest. It cost me $1.14 for a 24mg 10ml bottle of 80/20 juice with 25% flavoring.

I dont like diy but 1.14 verus 5 to 7 bucks is a BIG difference

I'm a huge fan of sweet/dessert flavors. JuicyVapor is a good one for me, their juices are pretty much in line with their descriptions.

My other faves are ones I've found here in the main supplier's forum thread: KickBassVapor, Southern Ambrosia, and Pure Vapes. I've pm-ed to place my orders, and I've found them to be really helpful with good service. They have sweet flavors, and they work for me.

I'm on a kr808d1, and some of my cartomizers are lousy, which in turn affects the taste. I'm thinking about dripping, as others have suggested, to get the full flavor effect. Another thing thats suggested is to let the juices "steep". I've taken the caps of the bottles overnight, and honestly not sure if that helps, but I've really enjoyed all the vendors I've mentioned. Good luck :)
