.....it is normal for the Bolt mod to take 5 seconds to turn on (when the atomizer starts crackling)? If not, how do I fix it?

I only ask this, because Eva on Youtube did a review on The Bolt where her Bolt mod stopped working when the wires in the mod came loose(?).

It's not normal for any pv to take 5 seconds to turn on. The first thing I'd check is the resistance of the atomizer. If it's an HR atty it might take a while to heat up giving the illusion that the unit is faulty.

Thank you for the suggestions. I finally figured it out when I switched out my cartomizer. It is putting out some thick vapor now. It's only been a little over a month, so I am still learning how long a cartomizer will last me. I believe I had used that particular atomizer for a little over 2 weeks. Good thing to know. I now know how many carts to order to last me a month!
