I use a spinner and twist with boge lr cartos at 4.6v to get the kind of vape I like. How would a bolt or similar device with 1.7ohm cartos or boge lr cartos compare as far as vapor production and draw.I like having alot of vapor with a easy draw.I dont want something where I have to take long hits to get decent vapor.Would I be able to get the same satisfaction from a fixed volt mod with lr cartos that Im use to with my current setup ?And how do most 3.7v mods like the bolt compare to a ego t or similar 3.7 devices with lr cartos as far as draw and vapor production ?I really need a new device ASAP as Im down to just my spinner since my twist died. Please help Im going crazy deciding between just getting another twist or something different.Im looking to spend 40 to 50 for a setup if that helps thanks :)

I like my Bolt. It's new, but I still like it. :)

It's not a moderated unit, though. Your voltage will follow the battery's, so it'll be around 4.2 fresh off the charger, 4.0-ish after the battery relaxes, and drop progressively through the 3.x voltage range until it gets so weak you really should recharge it (call it 3.2 volts or so). It simply doesn't produce a consistent vape, but spends at least sixty percent of the battery range at 3.7 volts or above.

However, I'm perfectly happy with a 3.6 volt vape at 2.6 ohms resistance. I'm not demanding.

You are, moreso than I am. It sounds like you wouldn't particularly favor the Bolt's output as 4.6 volts at 2.0 ohms is 10.6 watts.

The Bolt, off the charger, won't produce more than 8.8 watts. At midrange, closer to 6.8 watts.

All things considered, it sounds like the Twist is a better choice for you.

If you buy a mod you'll need decent batteries and a good charger - so factor in about $35-$40 for a charger and two batteries.

Also - have you looked at one of the power charts like this:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ksheet-voltage-vs-resistance.html#post3134571
Click on the chart there for a bigger view. Its for single coils and gives a good guide on watts from different voltages and resistances.

Why not just get another Spinner?

For a first mod there is the investment in a safe charger and batteries, so your budget would need to be higher if you want vv or vv/vw. Once you have batteries and a charger mods become cheaper because you just buy the body. Batteries are cheaper to replace in the long run than disposables too.

I've had good luck with the mini lavatube I've had for a year now (was on sale for $35) I've also had good luck recently with products from Smoke Revolt; they have a mini LT (they call it the 'Pauldron') it's at $44.99 right now, but they're always dropping the prices on their PV's so if you don't like the price wait a week or so; they might have something else you'd like too.
