Love this forum. New to the world of vaping and need some suggestions.

I've spent a ton of time on ECF and the education has been great but a bit overwhelming. My first and only kit is Vapor4Life batteries and cartomizers which I really, really like. But I want more:laugh:

I just want to try some other rigs to see what's out there. I want to start refilling the carts, get some blank ones and maybe try some tanks or other delivery styles, try drip tips, etc but I would like to be able to use my 808 style carts so I don't have too many parts and pieces. Is there some other batteries and systems that I can try and still use my V4L carts? Or should I just try some 510 stuff?

I obviously don't know what I am looking for, I just want to explore. I am a light to moderate user and don't need the giant batteries and tanks, etc. I just want to experiment. Moving to something not 808 compatible is no big deal I was just trying to keep it simple.

Thanks for your help. I hope I can contribute down the road.

808 are going to be harder to find.... not impossible but still. I would recommend something with a 510 connection. It is more universal. The Silver Bullet is the mod I tend to send newcomers towards because it's decently priced, versatile and rugged.

+1 on the Silver Bullet I just got mine in today and it is built like a tank. There is also the bolt that is simular but a bit cheaper...though it is Chinese and does not have as nice of a button. The good thing about both is that you can always buy a Kick and the extension and turn time into a variable wattage device later on. You will have to buy an 808 to 510 adaptor to run your cartos on these rigs though.

Thanks folks. I'm not looking for a mod, just something off the rack. Looks like I'll be moving away from the 808 which is fine.

I like the kGo and Riva ideas. The Provari is more than I want to spend. I could go for teh Silver Bullet but it doesn't look like it comes in a kit and I'm not sure about all the parts and pieces yet.

What about the eGo?
What's a GG"

Thanks this is very helpful.

if you go with the silver bullet at the bottom of the page it has drop down boxes to add what ever you want but further down it has a suggestion list as for as what you should get to make it a kit. which amounts to 2 batteries, charger,2 attys, the rig its self, and a volt meter. Of course you don't have to have all of that but thats the recommended list

I am also new to the world of vaping, and went with the ego c. I am not happy with the ego c tank system. Not so much the set up, but rather the atomizer they are using. I have tried several different Mods thanks to some serious dedicated vapor friends. And found that the ego gives a rather cooler vape. I hope I am getting my point acrossed. It seems that when I put a standard Boge carto on my ego batt, I am getting tons more flavor, and a warmer vape. For me that is more along the line of what I am looking for. I didn't think about jumping into a big batt mod right away when I was looking to buy my first kit. Just because I was looking more for a set up with everything included, and at a reasonable price. I wish I would have went a different route. I know that the ProVari may seem like alot to spend all at once, but in my opinion, I think that even being a new user, it is the route to go. There may be some experienced vapors out there that say that mod is way too much for a newbie. But it all depends on what they are looking for, and what they want to spend. I hope my input helps, and keeps another person for smoking analogs.
