Hi everybody...I just got my first bottle of Boba's Bounty (100 ml @ 12 mg nic). Right out of the envelop it tasted like someone dropped an ashtray in it. I read elsewhere on ECF that it gets better with age, and most people suggested 1 - 2 weeks. My question is what is the best way to steep it? Should I remove the cap or keep it on? are a couple of good shakes advisable? Thanks for your help.

Your probably gonna get several different ways to steep eliquids, including BBs. But, FWIW, here's what I do, which I think is a pretty standard way to steep. Once I have retrieved the BB from the vapebox, I go to my vape station, unwrape the envelope, take the bottle out and shake it up real good. Then, I remove the cap and let the bottle sit overnight. Come back, put the top back on, give it another good shaking, and put it away in the vape cupboard. Everyone once in awhile, which can range from a day to two or three days, I shake the bottle. In any case, I wait until 14 days have gone by before I even consider vaping it. BTW, I've had some BBs for nearly 6 months and it hasn't changed much since I first vaped it. Prepare for other methods....:pop:

With 100ml bottle, the best thing to do is shake it like a can of paint and transfer some over to a smaller bottle, 15 or 30mls. Steeping goes faster in smaller bottles. Then.... Just wait a couple weeks. A warm water bath in a mini-crock pot can help too.

Thanks..I gave it a try..filled 3 10 ml bottles ..opened their caps and put them in the drawer..tomorrow I'll give them a good shake, screw the caps and leave them in the drawer. One thing that bothers me though is that there's also something a bit off with their irish cream..does it need steeping as well?

10ml bottles are perfect. You'll start getting that addictive flavor in 5-7 days in those. Lucky you. I'm out of BB at the moment.

Is your Irish Cream from Alien Visions as well? I have an Irish creme from another vendor, and it's NOT one of my favs, but it IS improving with time, so I would say the version of Irish creme I have does indeed need to steep.

As far as leaving the tops off, that is a good method to deal with juices with an alcohol flavoring base, but BB isn't one of them. AVE doesn't use alcohol-based flavorings, that I'm aware of.

Yes the Irish Cream is from alien visions..gave it a try today and I wasn't impressed really..but it's a 30 ml bottle..guess I'll have some in a smaller bottle and see what happens.

I also got some from five pawns's mixology line ..these are alcohol based and may need a bit of steeping too...guess opening the cap would work well with them..right?

Yep. It's night time there now, right? So just take off the caps, go to bed, and recap them in the morning, and give em a good shaking. Other than a warm water bath, that's about the best you can do.
