(Help needed) thinking of building my own box mod...

Just a rough idea at this stage until I know where I can source everything from.
Things I'm looking for:
It must be Regulated.
Compact but with power (so 40watts?....50?)
Ideally a single 18650.
Not bothered about USB charging.
A decent chip which displays things correctly.
Bonus's if it can display temp and resistance with 3 digits unlike my ipv & sigelei's 2 digit
I have a few questions.

Is there a list somewhere with all the parts I need? I'm based in the U.K. So ideally i would like to order from here (just so shipping won't take as long) but if not it's not a major issue.

The box itself... What's the best material or can I order pre made boxes? Who cuts the holes in these things for the display/buttons.

Just how difficult is it to wire these things together? I used to wire Marshall amps handwire series so I have some experience with soldering.

Basically, I need everything. The best wires to use, the best buttons and 510/switches etc.

You should be able to find everything you need in there such as seeing what others are commonly using for parts, how-to guides, etc

Lots of information right here on ecf. I have seen quite a few great YouTube videos also that explain very well. Good luck to you and I look forward to seeing what you build. I find it all very fascinating.
