Okay so i wanted to try these new e-cigs and i went to a smoke shop locally and they had a model which i bought. I found this website after and been lurking for a few days and learning.

I turns out i bought the KR808 model by Elektro. Its a automatic battery. It doesnt have great reviews. Its okay. The vapor production is poor on most flavors. There are only 5 flavors at the smoke shop. Tobacco, Menthol, Cherry, Grape, and Strawberry.

I ended up buying strawberry cartridges to start off as well as getting a free sample of menthol and tobacco. The strawberry flavor sucked. The first cartridge leaked e juice onto my hands and mouth. It was nasty . The throat hit was wayyyyyyyyy too much, i felt like i was smoking kush, and the flavor was ok, but vapor production was terrible. I never really use them.

The menthol is actually really good and i went back and bought the 5 pack. The vapor production varies from cartridge to cartridge but mostly good. No leaks yet, and the first 2 cartridges were great. Then i tried one yesterday and after a couple of drags which were really good, it started tasting like burnt metal/plastic combo. Nasty. So i was like bad cartridge and threw it out but now this new one i put in has the same problem after a good 10 hits. Its a really nasty taste.

Is it cheap cartridges? if so i have a feeling like orange or lemon would be amazing flavors. Do you guys know of any good websites where i can order Kr808 cartridges that produce good vapor and dont leak or taste like burnt plastic sometimes?

Anyway 2 of my friends have the BLU and their vapor production is good(my main must have), and the battery problems are not a issue since u get 2 batteries and the usb charger, wall charger, and the E cig pack portable charger that charges your cigarettes on your pocket. I really liked their E cig. Mine looks big and bulky compared to theirs. I don't like big and bulky.

So last night i went and ordered my blu after reading about it and peoples reviews and comparisons.
I wouldn't buy the EGO/Ali'l they would feel too big for me, and even tho i read that the 510 models from Joyce are the best products, i also feel like they are too big and long for me. I really like the blu model.

Ive read that the Blu models are LB88 or somthing? is that correct?
I plan on keeping my KR808 and using it sometimes but making the blu my e cig at work and when i leave the house. Now my question for the blu is: where would i find cartridges that fit on these LB88 models?

I dont know how to drip but it sounds messy, and i dont want to make my own e juices yet. I am not too impressed with the blu's flavors either. Ive only tried 2 ill admit. But i just have this feeling i just want to find a real good orange, or citrus flavor.

Can anybody recommend me a good site with good citrus or orange cartridges that they have bought that will fit either the blu or Kr808 model?

Also i used to smoke a pack aday of American Spirits Yellow. I smoke bud too. I just really care about vapor production, not throat hit so much. I know everybody is going to say return your blu, but i like the looks and my friends had theirs for a while and no problems and i love the style. Blu still has horrible shipping times from what i can tell. Idc about getting the blu so soon because i can smoke cigs and my Kr808. But i do not want to wait 2 weeks to get cartridges. And those flavors arent really good.

Help please? BTW blu is automatic battery too

Hello and Welcome!

You can refill your blu carts with whichever flavor you want.

there are many guides and videos out there if you search. it comes out to be a lot cheaper than buying prefilled carts.

I have never heard of a LB88 atomizer so i'm not sure what to tell you about that.

there is a ton of vendors out there that sell blu and kr808 carts if you search around.

Find a site that has what you need and then check out the reviews for that vendor on this site.

may help you get an idea on flavors and shipping times.

I wasn't a fan of any cartridges either. I switched to a drip tip and am much happier with the overall results. It's really not as messy as it sounds. Actually, I have less mess with the drip tip than I did with the carts. Once you get the hang of it, it's great. I have no idea if they are compatible with your model but maybe look into that if you want. =)

Since your KR808 battery is an automatic you may not be able to drip with it. Check to see if there's a hole at the top. If there is, then don't use it to drip! Juice will get inside the battery and ruin it! If there isn't a hole, then the battery is sealed and can be used for dripping.

Yea there is a hole.
Does anybody know what is wrong with the cartridges that gives them that burt taste?
Also what are some good websites that sell cartridges or flavors that dont have those bad chemicals in them, and have a good shipping time and price that you guys would personally recommend me?

Which website do you guys use personally for your flavors?

If the carts have a burnt taste or smell then they're probably empty or close to it. Don't vape them anymore or you might ruin them. Who knows how long those prefilleds had been sitting around before you got them.

I have two favorite juice vendors: VaporBomb and Gourmet Vapor. Both have excellent flavors and service, although VaporBomb is going to be a little less expensive. Gourmet Vapor is a little more pricey, but not out of line for what they offer.

As WomanOfHeart said the burnt taste is caused by the cart becoming too empty. More juice fixes that right up.

Trust me you want to refill your carts. Buying new prefilled carts will become a problem very quickly and e juice comes in dropper bottles and it is very easy not to make a mess (used to have the same concern(

Any USA liquid will be free of bad chemicals. The only thing in e juice that is not something you probably eat daily is nicotine. The flavors are the same natural and artificial flavors you see on ingredients lists (usually marked artificial or natural flavors lol) propylene glycol is a common food additive and funny enough is one of the primary ingredients in mouthwash. Vegetable glycerin is a plant derivative used in many medications as well as foods. And of course there is nicotine. That's it. Pretty straight forward stuff. The list of places that sell good ejuice is huge. I like MadVapes myself. But everyone has their favorites.

When people are talking about dripping, they mean they get a tip that is open and they can drip the juice straight onto the atomizers. You drip in a couple of drops vape until you need more and drip in a couple more. I do that personally but it seems like refilling cartridges is more your thing.

Don't worry about what people have to say about you using a Blu. If it works for you more power to you.

welcome. i have a blu and a 510 the 510 is alot better but the blu is easy to use when out and about. i have put in alot of time getting the blu to work well but it can be doone.1st you will need to fill your carts its easy once you do it a few times,i thinck the blue foam mod works best you tube it it a easy mod. you will go though filled cart pretty fast so carry a few in your pack. i get my juice from sticly e juice, so far its been good stuff for me. i get their medium and cut it like 20% with vg makes good vapor and smooths out the thoat hit.the 3 times i orderd for them was great no problems and had my stuff in about 4 days. good luck...

i havE found that if i take of the cartridge and leave it too cool off it goes back to tasting regular for like 6 hits. Its not empty because they both did it after 6 drags. The atomizer gets exremely hot. Maybe is the kr808 burning cartridges issue?

Also my Kr808 has been hitting like a monster all of a sudden. Not the strawberry flavor(which doesnt have the burning issue) but the menthol(burning issue).

Also ive decided that i will make my own flavors too. Any very good step by step guides, and an website with all the required tools (drip bottles/syringes/E juice/ Vegetable Glycerin) What else do i need?

The problem is that you have vaped all the juice away from the atomizer and it's now burning the packing material. Giving it a rest will allow the juice to saturate back into the packing which surrounds the atomizer. This situation can also be an indicator that the juice is too thick and doesn't migrate well through the packing.
Before making your own juice, I suggest you buy some small sample bottles of juice from FreedomSmokeUSA and get a good idea of what you want to make yourself. They also carry some of the misc supplies you will need.
