which is the better investment for me?

I use the blu cigs and have a months worth of cartridges left.

I plan to switch to either a Joye 510 or a KR808, but I'm unsure of which would save me more money in the long run compared to the blu cigs. It is not only my consumption of the ecigs that makes me want to switch but the fact that blu is inconsistent with their cartridges, I would explain further, but I'm just done.

How much does a bottle of juice last? I want a variety of flavors, and low maintenance. I do like that the KR808 has only two pieces, but I have never filled a cartridge with my own juice before. The idea of having a larger variety of flavors is very appealing to me. I like the portability of the Blu Cigs, but I would be willing to settle for something different.

Also, if anybody could offer suggestions on the best site to order the the starter kit, cartridges, and juice it would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Shin and welcome to ECF.

First of all, your Blu is a 510 device, so you're halfway there. I would stay with the 510--you'll have more choices of batteries and heads than you would with the kr808D-1.

If you want to save money, get some juice that is compatible with your flavors and start refilling your cartomizers. Blu uses Johnson's Creek eliquids, but you don't have to get them. Mt.Baker Vapor is very popular here and very inexpensive--read some reviews and order a few flavors that you think you may like--get the smallest bottles you can get.

If and when you're ready to move to bigger batteries, I suggest getting this starter kit some time in the future.

Welcome, congrats on the switch.
You will get lots of suggestions here. I started with two ego-c upgrades and some kanger t3's and it worked very well for me. I still use this setup btw. I have several others now and would probably have to recommend a twist or spinner to start so you can adjust the volts per juice.
Juice prices vary and so does consumption. I'm 1.2-2.5ml a day, some are up to 10ml+. Mt baker vapor has great prices and good juice. Lots to choose from out there.

I would stick with the 510, if I were in your situation. As for as how long juice lasts, that varies wildly depending on the person. I use pretty high nicotine juice, and do about 3ml in a day. I usually order juice about 120ml at a time. Yet, I know a guy who goes through about 1ml of 6mg per day. The efficiency of nicotine absorbption is also affected by your setup. Things that run with a higher effective wattage (read as high voltage low resistance) use more juice than the same setup at a lower wattage.

I agree with Katya on where to buy, I get most of my equipment from MVS. Also the 510 will give you more options...as far a juice, that's a personal preference. What do you want/like? There are some great premium juice sites around, with prices better than most local brick and mortars. A few that come to mind are fuzionvapor, heathersheavenlyvapes, and mtbakervapor. Between all those you are sure to find a few flavors you like. As far as how long juice lasts, it just depends on how much you vape

I have BOTH a 510 pair of batteries and an 808 kit with PCC.

I don't use either any more, but IF I was using them tomorrow, I'd stick with my Joyetech 510s (280mAh manual) and buy blank boge cartomizers and fill them with my 4 favourite juices. Unless you want (or don't mind) going bigger, this is a decent system. I might even buy one nice ego battery with a charger to add to it (knowing what I know now) just to ensure I had enough battery life to see me through the day.

Personally speaking, I prefer the bigger ego batteries now, but there's nothing wrong with small batteries, if you can avoid the running costs associated with these "proprietary" brands.

I'll join the others in recommending the 510 style thread devices, whichever one you like. Greater flexibility on what you can put on it. And the suggestions of refilling your existing carts, since the Blu batts are 510, or getting new empty ones are good. You can also put a Vivi Nano on them, easy to fill, clear tube so you can see how much juice is left... nice.

How long does a bottle of juice last? Heh, no way of telling, as we all vape different amounts. I tend to use about 3 ml a day, so a 15 ml bottle would be 5 days.
