Dfrank have you tried any other rda's before purchasing the REO? rda's generally similar in taste and vapor output as long as the build and air hole is the same. I would hold onto the REO because eventually you will want the versatility and extra vapor output from an RDA as you become a advanced vapor. kayfun's offer unmatched taste in the current market imo but lack in versatility and vapor output.

I have not tried other RDAs just the RM2 and Kayfun. I have some Davide tanks but rarely use them as the KF is just great for me. I'm a flavor chaser and don't care so much about clouds. They are cool and all but I usually just vape all day in my study ( I work from home ) and there is no one there to impress. Haha

Well dfranks it seems to me you didn't want the Reo anyway. You haven't posted a single pic of your setup so that we may assist you in finding a better vape. I would say if you posted a pic and let us help you. By the time your verified request goes through You'll be looking to sell something else. But it's all good someone here will give your Reo a good home.

Seems a bit harsh. I love the setup and ease of the Reo and if I could get the flavor I would be so happy. I have rebuilt this 6 times already following others advice. I took it to a good vape shop for their advice. Other advice is still welcomed.

BTW... A couple guys at the vape shop commented and thought that the REO was vaping and tasting really good. They mostly use drippers and as this is my first "dripper" they know more about how it should function as I do. They thought that because my Kayfun has a much tighter draw I was getting more throat hit and that is what I'm noticing as better flavor. My Reo does have flavor but I just feel that every juice I have tried has tasted more intense and better in the Kayfun. I currently am vaping 5pawns Grandmaster (banana & peanut butter) which I thought was AMAZING in my Kayfun and just ok in the RM2.

Everyone has different taste but I finally found my groove the other night by removing 50% of the cotton I was using. I need to squonk more ofter but the flavor is great.

I was not using much cotton to began with but I noticed that right before i needed to squonk I had the taste I was looking for so I decided to remove some wick and see what happened. BINGO……I found my sweet spot.

Each juice is a bit different in coil placement (height) to get the vape I want but removing 2 strands of wick allowed me to fine the Zone.

I read all the time that more is less…..and in my case it was true.

Keep trying and you will find it. If you are totally unhappy and do not want to try anymore I'm sure you'll be able to find a suitable home for it.

I've never dripped and this is my first rebuildable- been watching the pros closely the past few weeks, and one thing I learned, the amount of wick can effect flavor- too much or too little can make a huge difference in performance.

edit to add: your drip tip can also make a difference! I usually like shorties/stubbies but sometimes, especially with a good fruity vape, I like the tip that came with the RM2.

Try a smaller diameter coil your wick looks good rite around the .8 ohms seams to be were mine works good
I get better flavour from the RM2 than my KFL+ and Provari setup plus I can hit over and over with out a dry hit you can't do that with a KFL+
I dont know what size wire you are using but in addition to making the coil a little less in diameter try uping the wraps just for a test. Like up to about 1.2 ohms and see if the flavor doesnt come through more for you. Dont know what juice youre using either but sometimes I have noticed that I get more flavor out of a higher ohmed coil than a say .08 coil. Try it cant hurt. I can say I have had a russian91 and have used both the rm2 and the russian and the rm2 gives much better flavor for me. Also thinking.. Make sure youre not sing too much cotton.. too much in too tight in the coil will choke the coil.. Too little will not work either. Has to be just about right. When you can just pull it through the coil. Not too loose and not too tight. Doesnt have to have long tails.. You can also adjust height of coil once made. try it in different heights above and below the airhole.. Will make a huge difference.
