Help new to rebuilding

Hey what's up. I'm trying my hand at rebuilding. I'm trying to rebuild on the rba of the kanger subtank mini. I did a 6 wrap coil with 26gauge kanthal wire. It first read at 1.0 ohms then jumped down to .9 then jumped to 2.1 ohms. Like I said I'm brand new to rebuilding. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Check to make sure the bottom of the rba(post) is tight and that your screws are tight as well.. The bottom likes to come loose once in a while.

I use two different ohm readers just to be sure. One is just a plain old ohm reader. The other, or others as is the case, are mods. I understand if it jumps by .1. That just means it is in the middle of the two reading. Jumping more than that, though, means something is up. As voodoo, said, check the hardware so that things have not come loose.

Ok thanks a lot I'll double check that. And it was a 7 wrap not 6 wrap. Appreciate it.

Tighten down those coil screws, and make sure the coil's not contacting anything it shouldn't be.

7 or 8 wraps with 26g micro coil comes out to roughly .85 on my ohm reader.

Like mentioned make sure your posts and wire are tight as well as your coil needs to be as consistent and even as possible
