I want best atomizer life, most vape, ease of refilling carts, and most flavor ( i guess that falls in vape area ). i have tried a few e liquids so its not that. The trio 51 carts are so small and dont last long, and not very strong. Please help I am ready to order tomm a.m. thanks in advance people!!!!!

never used a glv, but I don't disagree with making an investment etc...

Madvapes are great folks... can't go wrong there - they'll fix it if it fails for free.

consider your options..

you could get a 3.7 rough stack from madvapes and get LR atties... an LR306 on a rough stack would give you wicked long battery life and be very much like 5V vaping...

I have had two 5v devices... and I have pretty much settled on staying awat from 16340 batts... I just drain them too fast.

I like the 14500 batt on a 3.7 with an LR 306/510 or 901...

I have a bartleby and an icon.

The roughstack is perhaps the next one I would buy.

If you are determined on getting a straight 5v mod... ask around... battery life would be key for me.

*remember, you can't use LRs on a 5v

Good luck buddy

*Another note...
I DO LIKE BOX MODS.
Someone has a Ken's Boxmod in the classies now... with batts and charger...

Heres what I was looking in to. tell me what you think? ( I appreciate your info so far, and will look at it)

battery box:
3xAA 5 Volt Boxmod with slow change LED

attys: (2)
510 Spare Atomizer

batterys (2):
Ultrafire Protected 14500 Battery, 900 mAH

charger:
AG-126 Lithium Ion Battery Charger

carts empty:
510 Flat-Tip Refill Cartridges, Empty

Thats all I should need, right? if i buy this set up. one other thing I picked this because I waned something that wont cost a ton. I am so let down with the trio 51 that I really just wanted to give up.

I am so let down with the trio 51 that I really just wanted to give up.

Main thing is you realized it is the specific model that is at fault and not PVs ( e-cigs or vaporizers) in general.
I am sure you will find exactly what you are looking for (PV and juice or DIY juice) soon.

You are making a great start!

Happy New Year!

I got some juices from madvapes and twisted but it sucks in my trio 51, constantly have to fill, and always drinking the fliud, and the vapor isnt great. I tried vg also. I know its the trio and it sucks cause i spent $200 on it like 6 months ago, so I am wanna go right to the 5v and try it out and if i like it then maybe upgrade it and so on. I just want thoughts on the setup i posted, to make sure I got a decent setup,or other suggestions because like i said I already spent $200 plus carts and fluids and am really unhappy. This setup will cost me $75 shipped..........please help!!!!
oh and any coupon codes would be cool (strell dont work anymore)

More voltage does not always give you a better vape. There's a lot more to it than that. You need to match the atty resistance to the voltage or you aren't going to get good results. If you're simply looking for a consistently good vape try the 3.7v boxmod with an LR atty at around 1.7 to 2.0 ohms. I used a setup like that for a while and it's really good and it's consistent. It's also less finicky than an HV setup. That's my advice anyway.

The great thing about madvapes cheap box mods is that if you want to go 5v later your same 14500's will work as it just uses one more of them. Its not going to win a beauty contest but the price is good and they have an on/off button which is nice.

I think it depends on what your after as well...I find the cisco 2ohm 510 and the boge 2ohm cartomizer to be a really nice spot on a 3.7 device...the best part being I can just put them on my ego as well and get an almost as good vape...almost :p and a 510 drip tip...

If it was me I would get the 3.7 v box, a lr 510 (they do't have the cisco 2 ohm yet...a pack of 510 2.0 boge cartomizers...two batteries...a charger (preferably the dual charger in case you upgrade later) and a drip tip.

The boge cartomizers are very easy to fill you just drip into the white stuff and put the drip tip back on and vape....

Those little 3.7v boxmods are great little vape machines. I'd use a 2.0 ohm atty. It'll knock your socks off compared to what you've got. Get at least 2 batt's and a charger, at least 2 atty's in the 1.7 to 2.0 ohm range, and a drip tip (they're cheap), as well as a box of cart's if you want. The whole works will come in at around $50, but you'll have a good little PV that'll outperform an eGo at about the same price.

At about the same price, and much cheaper to replace batteries for. And yet another +1 for 3.7V. I have regular 510 batts, an Ego, a 3.7V PT with inline battery, and a 5V PT. I like and use them all but the 3.7V PT gets the most use. Just remember that there is a big variation in the taste of the juices at different heat levels. Just use 2.0 ohm for most and 2.4 ohm for the really strong ones.lol.

u think 3.7 will be better that my trio? what atty do you use with the 3.7 box mod? this is my last try at vaping so i wanted the best bang for in my price range. Thats why i wanted to go 5v.

I've had the "duo" for a long time and have vaped the Trio at the mall countless times. Never enough to get me off cigarettes.
The poor battery life, inconsistent hits, the burning and yucky taste after taking the looooong drags. You know what I mean.........

Hesitant to give advice on a specific model, however, suffice it to say there are many models available 3.7 or otherwise that are so superior to what you have been experiencing, it is hard to put into words.

Long story short, don't let your "trio" experience shape your opinion about vaping.

All the best and Happy New Year!

ok i am gonna take everyones advise and go with the 3.7v. I appreciate all the help btw. I just hope I am not throwing money away. I got a 3.7v mod box, 2 battys, charger, 6 blank carts, 2 standard 510 attys, then a 6 pack of 2.0 ohm cartomizers. I dont know how long cartomizers last. the reviews for low resisance attys were terrible at madvapes i dunno is the ones they sold were just p.o.s. but i just assumed the standard 510 would be ok? am I correct? I have shopping cart full and didnt order yet, but i am in a few.

edit: nevermind i put the low res attys in cart 1.7ohms. all total is $72. same price as 5v setup without the pack of cartos. I am one of those guys who sees more power as being better but I am gonna go with your opinons. U all are experienced, thanks again!

Drip tips are wonderful little pieces of hardware. Just put it in place of your cart and drip directly into the atty. You'll get around 10 to 15 decent hits off it with 3 drops. When it starts tasting different, just drip 3 more drops. Nothing to remove and you don't have to buy carts or mess with replacing the filler when they wear out. If you look around some of the vendors have them for $1 or so.
