Help! Our Provari Princess can't get on ECF!

Does anyone have any ideas besides clearing cache and cookies as to why she can't open ECF at all? The error says "server not found". It's been 15 hours now! Princess Ocelot is having ECF withdrawals. She did manage to see that Provape is selling the red mini listed for $169 as a "Holiday Special"!

Here's what she's tried so far:

I've manual cleared my cache, reset Safari (which deleted history, cookies, etc.), made sure I have the latest version of Safari; ECF is the only site I can't open. I can't open it in Firefox either. I get an error that the page won't load because the server can't be found. I'm on a desktop Mac. I was in the middle of posting at around 4AM PST when I got the error. It won't open the .com/, /forum, /index.hmtl (which was suggested as a fix on Safari help).

I don't have any suggestions other than what she had done except to restart. I am on a Mac laptop on Safari and it is running very slow right now. I did have the same error the other day that she has right now. I cleared everything and restarted my computer and I finally was able to get on.

Use the following Terminal command to reset the DNS cache:

sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder

edit to add: reboot the router in the house as well.

There have been server problems posted in Site Help & Feedback but I'm pretty sure everything is back to normal now. It sounds like a problem on her end of things at this point. Reset whatever she is using to connect to the internet on her end of things.

I have not had anyroblems. I'm on my iPad using Safari. Hmmm. From what I have learned from my IT proficient hubby I would say it's something on her end. Just not sure what exactly.

I am not sure it is back to normal right now--I have had lots of problems today with loading too. It is very slow for me.

I'm having slowness issues big time today. I'm getting packet loss but only from this website, other sites are just fine. I'm seeing slowness when I hit some routers in Chicago 4 hops before this forum. Not sure if it's in the forum infrastructure or outside of it.

I have the ProVari sub forum bookmarked. That's where I always start when I enter ECF.

Well yesterday I kept getting a "Gateway Timeout"....

Finally I decided to try from ECF home. Worked on the first try. Been working ever since.

I've been having downslowding problems, but it's working reasonably well tonight. I'd definitely recommend a full cycle on everything that plugs into the wall. If that doesn't work, perhaps cheese. Cheese helps everything.

It's been quite slow for me for several days now, progressively slower every day, it seems.

I have not noticed slowing beyond the usual slowness of ECF. Not had an issue with total inability to get on the site.

It does seem to run faster on my iPhone using tapatalk than on my Mac using Chrome.

I second the method of resetting everything especially the local router.

I couldn't get on the forum yesterday from my iPad or my Mac. But I could acess ECF via the tapatalk app on my phone.

Today the forum has been really slow.
