I bought the Ego from smoktek just to get started and I'm ready to step up to variable voltage. I'm wanting to stay with a 650 mah size and in the $20-30 range. smoktek has some, smokeless image has the volts. Just looking for recommendation on vendor and/or model or whatever. Hoping to order tonight or in the morning and hopefully have it by Friday.

Hi and welcome!

The Volts (and VOLT Spinners) from Smokeless Image DO NOT have the same threading as JoyeTech Twists or VISION Spinners. Sorry for the shouting, but I think SI did customers a disservice calling their vv device a "Spinner." There's nothing wrong with the company or the device, but it doesn't have 510/eGo threading so you can't put devices like EVODs or Protanks on them.

I've bought from this vendor a lot. They sell authentic products and have good prices for most things::

I know you said you wanted to stay at the 650 range but here is a 1100 for a great price plus the site is very awesome to deal with and their juices are super super super popular, cant beat their prices on juice either.
Smoktech Ego Winder VV Battery

You should really think about getting a bigger battery man, 650 is fine but i really think you would enjoy the bigger batteries. that Smoketech Ego Winder VV had great reviews at mtbakervapor.com that what made me decide to buy it over the twist and other brands. Btw i ordered from mtbakervapor.com this morning at around 5am central time and it was shipped at about 430 pm central time.

I don't wanna see anyone first starting off in the Vaping world...get burned on 'knock off' products. To avoid spending money on JUNK, and getting ripped off. For beginners out there, I recommend what's below. Wish someone had put a link like this up about 6 months ago. I'd saved a lot of money.

Go here to get a real Joyetech Twist XL. I got two. Great batteries, and it's the real deal.
eGo 1000mAh Batteries :

An even better deal is here. Get a VAMO! Great deals and prices at Fasttech.
$51.96 Vamo-Vivi Stainless Steel Voltage Adjustable E-Cigarette Battery Compartment Set - with Nitecore I2 US battery charger/charger cable/2*Panasonic CGR18650CH 18650 batteries at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

and a Kanger Protank for the juice.

I bought the Vision Spinner VV after reading many, many posts on different forums. Basically, consensus was the Spinner lasts longer and people with both the Twist and Spinner preferred the Spinner *shrugs

I like my Spinner, but after only 2 months, it is holding less charge and is likely on the way to the battery graveyard.

Hmmm. Maybe it's Vamo time. Or an SVD.

The Vamo seems to be worth its weight in gold around here, enough so that I bought one myself and totally skipped the eGo line-up, went right from an 808 cigalike to the Vamo..can't comment on it as it's still in transit to me but it's definitely a great piece of kit, look up some reviews on Youtube, this is the one that sold me: A PBusardo Review - The Vamo - YouTube
