Well I think its about that time, money has been really tight but I managed to sell a few things on ebay and I have about 80 dollars to spend on my first mod. Not a lot of money so my choices are limited.

I'm leaning towards either the Wetbox or The Chuck.

One of my biggest gripes about vaping is constantly having to refill/change things. At first this didn't bother me, it was a lot of fun, but now that I have settled into things and found what i like I just want to set it and forget it. This is the main reason I am leaning towards the wetbox. I love the new E2s and the wetbox seems like the perfect fit to go along with those.

The chuck on the other hand has tons of rave reviews and I haven't found too much about the wetbox. That may be the only reason I don't go with it.

I guess my question is, if you had $80-100 dollars to spend what would you buy? Any more recommendations for me? These are the things I'm mainly looking for.

1) I'd prefer something between 3.7 - 5v.
2) Like i said before my money is limited so 80 to 100 dollars. If there is something you think i'd like more I don't mind waiting a couple more weeks and a few more ebay sales.
3) I'd like a long battery life with cheap easy to find batteries.
4) I think I'm done with atomizers because I've been spoiled by the e2, so preferably something that can handle cartos.
5) I'd like a juice feeder, but in the end it doesn't matter that much to have one.

wait a few weeks and get the GLV-2? LOl. I also hear from people that the kaji is a good one, sabertouch, chucks, maybe an indulgence, buzz.. I'd check the classified here on the forums and see what people are selling. You can get some amazing deals there and if there is an adapter for the mod, you can pretty much use the cartos to my knowledge.

Just curious...if you're going to use the E2 cartomizers, why are you set on a juice feeder?

Although these things are amazing, i'm sick of the refilling method for them. I can either refill it with a syringe or remove the third ring on the inside (which is a pain in the rear) and drip to refill them. Once you remove that third cap it is very easy for them to start leaking.

You might want to hold out for a variable voltage with the E2 cartos. From what I've read, they seem to fare better on lower voltages than high. The Kaji Ali'i is supposed to be coming out with a variable voltage in a few weeks. The current model has a 6 mL juice feed, which I would assume the VV would, too. Right now it's using an 18650 battery, which is good for all day. I don't know if it will have the same battery configuration when the variable voltage comes out or not. The current straight voltage ones run $135; no word on what the VV will run. I believe someone is successfully using cartos on her Ali'i now, so it obviously is do-able. And since it's not yet released, you'll have a chance to sell a few more things. I know I'm knocking on the neighbors' doors checking their couches for change because I want one myself.

After about an half an hour up, I dont know how to find these posts. They dont show up in "my Post" and they're not in the "new posts" sections. The best way to relocate them is to take the time to notice where it located (forum/subforum) at the time of my fist post. They seem to play hide n seek. Its easy to lose interest and one's sence of involvement when the post is no longer available.

Shaun, I have a wetbox and personally think it is a big piece of crap,,,saying that i suggest you get a 5volt boxmod from Ken
at Box Mods , you can get it with a 510 or 901 connector, some cartomizers or attys and you are set to go. gonna be a while before the juice feed system is perfected and i find it more trouble than it is worth.

Strongley recommend a 5 volt mod. If you don't get it now, you will just be putting it off to get it eventually. One of the best priced ones is from Ken's Box Mods.

Box Mods

I think Shaun should experiment with the high voltage via a passthrough or LR atomizers/cartomizers before he invests in a 5V mod. I know it may be hard to believe, but some of us don't like the higher voltage and our "sweet spots" lay below that provided with the 5V equipment. I would hate to see someone who is taking the $100 he has worked hard to gather and buying a 5V mod with it, only to discover that he cannot use it for whatever reason.

Ken's Box Mod's 5 volt mod is $37!!! And it's not by accident that 5 volt mods have grown by leaps and bounds. The demand is just that high for a reason. But I do respect that some are still OK with the less warmth and throat hit of the lower volt devices.

By the time he buys batteries and a charger, it's up to around $57, which is a big chunk out of the $80 he wants to spend. And if he ends up not liking the 5V, he doesn't have a lot left to get an alternative. He may love 5V, but I think he'd be better served to confirm that by exploring inexpensive options such as an $8 atomizer or a $15 dollar passthrough before dumping the larger part of his budget into a mod that he may or may not like. If he likes it after trying the $8 atomizer, he's still got plenty of money left to get a 5V box mod. If he doesn't like it, he's only out $8 and he's still got enough money left to get a 3.7 box mod.
