Help Please! oil based flavors on my atty

I posted this ? in the new members section, but I'll try it here too...

I purchased some Peppermint ejuice and didn't get the peppermint flavor I was expecting...so, before researching a little more, I added approx. 15 drops of LorAnn Peppermint oil to the bottle of ejuice. This is a 15 ml bottle (mixed 50/50). It's pepperminty now :p.

I've read that oil is bad on attys, I vape on a KR808. My question is, should I have diluted the oil before adding it to the ejuice, should I throw it out now?

I appreciate any help..thanks!!

Oil is bad for atomisers. But are you sure that this is oil? does it say so? Reason I ask is that LorAnn do some excellent flavourings which are water based, and I would have thought they would do a Peppermint which was oil free also.

Re ' should I have diluted the oil first?' No, you should avoid using oil based flavourings from now on, diluting the oil doesnt change the fact that it is oil.

Re ' should I throw it out now?' Personally, I wouldnt take the risk of using an oil based flavouring in my ecig, not because it could damage an atomiser, but because oil sticks, it coats, and I wouldnt want anything in my lungs that could coat bronchial tubes etc.,

I am not sufficiently informed on the effects of oil in the bronchial tubes, to know whether it would offer a health risk, but, I would not risk my health to find out.
