Just about all 901 and 901b's are compatible with the RN4075.

4075s come in white (901) and black (901b).

I have two 4075s (of course, I purchased them because they were labeled as 901s), and they've been great.

Most companies market their products as 901s because they are the most known e-cigarette, currently, but 9 times out of 10, they are 4075s.

while 4075's have numbers printed on the battery.

... prefixed by 'SHO'.

For carts, the 4075 has a circular hole in the mouthpiece while a 901 has a slit. 4075 carts are a two piece affair. Atomizer bridge is slightly different but I sure can't make them out without them being side by side.

ok,, so here is what i have:

sllver battery: sho on the brass
silver atomizer: no numbers, slightly rounded mesh
white atomizer: slb on the brass - pointed mesh, lightly looser fit for carts, slightly larger air hole on the side.

sounds like the silver parts are RN4075 while the white atomizer is a 901?

the RN4075 battery with the 901 atomizer is working well for me!

I have a a 901 (RN4075) from PureSmoker. I also have a 901 from another supplier. I noticed the 4075 batteries were slightly longer than those that came with the the 901 and asked Steve at PureSmoker about this.

His reply was that there are some subtle differences between the two, one of which is the battery length, and the RN4075 atomizers run "about 15% hotter", for better vapor production. There may be other differences, but I didn't get any details.
