I am still very new to this whole new world of vapeing. I bought the low end Ego kit and am happy with it. Recently, at a local B&M I bought 2 real Kanger T3s's. They are certainly superior to the Ce4/5 I had been happy with. They have KangerTech T3S engraved on the lower silver band.

Look at these on ebay: T3S Clearomizer Atomizer Ego T Evod New Kanger 5 Pack | eBay

I ordered them and at first glance they look fine. But, I noticed that there is nothing engraved on the lower band (no markings anywhere). I have not tried one. Still thinking about the ebay feedback. Good guy, or not? I don't want to give poor feedback if I have not been wronged by the seller. (Me being stupid is not his fault.) But, if he is not shooting straight, the whole world needs to know.

I read the ebay listing to be offering Kanger, the real thing. Have I just assumed too much from the listing title. No where in the body copy ) now I read that...) does it say Kanger, or anything, except they are brand new.

I've certainly wasted more on less...

<<<mods: If this is improper, kill the post and I will spend a few minutes in "time-out".>>>

They look right. Not all Kangers had the Kanger logo earlier. Now I think they do. Really hard to tell but the feedback was only 3 negatives on CE stuff. The statement on 'commitment' "If not 100% satisfied....." so if you don't like them contact the seller immediately.

I don't believe they are Kanger. Even in the item description it mentions EVOD, which they aren't, and Ego-T which they also aren't. The wording is purposefully vague but has all the keywords in it to pull it up in a search if you're looking for any of those things.

I would contact the seller and get a refund if you fully expected to get brand name Kanger T3S at that price. From the picture on ebay & comparing that listing to others--yours are clones and you got an extra one for the price you paid.

I would definitely contact the seller if the items are not what you expected. However, clones are not always bad. I would try one of them to see how it performs. I have several evod tanks and only half of them are genuine Kanger tanks, yet they all work great. I use genuine Kanger coils in all of them and I have no issues whatsoever. I also have ego batteries that are not Joyetech and they are lasting longer than my genuine ones.

One other point with the T3, T3S and now T3D (dual coil) clearos is that they are also manufactured as "Tabac BCC" but they're made by Kangertech. They're the same design as the "Kanger T3" but I've found the Tabac's - available at heaven gifts and good prophets, perform better than those labeled "Kanger T3/T3S/MT3/MT3S" - less leaks and a better draw for some reason. I've 'guessed at' why in earlier posts having to do with heaven gifts closeness with Kanger techs and how heaven gifts sends back everything ineffective to Kanger, but that's all second hand stuff. I've had both and prefer those labeled 'Tabac'. It's on the tank usually not on the metal like Kanger labeled ones. The boxes on both are labeled Kanger.

Well, thanks for the responses. My observations and conclusions:

They look and feel like the real thing.
They work as well as the real thing.
They use the same replacement parts as the real thing.
But, they are NOT the real thing - in my opinion!
However, they sure seem to be just as good.

I have to take the blame for the confusion. I should have paid more attention to the wording of the ad.
I should have submitted questions to the seller before I committed to buy.

I'm going to keep them, use them, and live happily ever after...

Mods: I'm the OP. You may close this thread if you want to.

***An Old Thread Update by OP***

I should have listened to those advisors telling me to send them back. They were not the real thing. They were not even good clones. The coil assembly is smaller and not as good as the real thing.

Worst of all - each one, in it's own time, separated glass from metal. Two made a mess on good shirts. One leaked all over a table. In each case, juice went everywhere.

I have since seen these same cheapies offered in local B&M as the real thing. Politely, I educated them. One owner took me to task and opened his "Kanger Direct" (really just from his supplier - not Kanger) package only to find several (of these) mixed in. It appears to me that the "substituting" goes up and down the supply chain.

If there is no Logo - They are a No no!!

Check my original post - http://www.ebay.com/itm/11125241807...eName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2648 - Not real!

I keep waiting for an economist to comment on the hidden cost of low quality Chinese goods, in which I would throw e-cig clones. We're kind of sold a bill of goods on how despite the slow/lack of rise in income, our standard of life is "better" because we have all these low-priced goods thanks to everything being outsourced to China, yet so often these goods turn out to be so unreliable that they are essentially disposable.

Many of them work poorly or if they work well, it's not for very long before they stop working and need to be replaced. The hidden costs are the opportunity costs of time spent troubleshooting and replacing them.

We hear a lot about the "costs" to luxury goods makers from cloning, but really, most of those people couldn't buy Coach or Louis Vuitton to begin with and most of the time fake bags, etc actually work as bags even if they just "look" like the real thing and aren't made to the same standards of the real thing.

after reading this i remembered a post i read somewhere on how to stop a fake kanger evod tank. supposedly the real tanks logos will line up perfectly with your ego fire button. alas i never for a perfect line up. but mine where always a perfect 90 or 180 from the button. and they all took kanger wicks. heck i use an evod base to dry fire my PT wicks for cleaning. and from what i have been reading on ECF some of the clones are just as good as the real thing and cheaper. research ask for advice and only buy from trusted vendors. ebayers beware people will lie to you to take your money.

The ones I started this thread about had no logo - that was my first clue.

Further inspection found that the coil assembly has a shorter metal stem on the piece that covers the true coil and wick.

Further usage finds that the coil stops working after a short time.

And, finally, the glass separates from the metal and causes all the ejuice to go wherever!

Buy the original!!

From the commentary around here, I wouldn't be dissatisfied if they weren't genuine. In fact, I got a 5 pack at the B&M and liked them so well I got more the next day. You've probably got grounds for a refund or replacement if they're not as advertised, but if they work, I wouldn't bother. That's just me, of course.

IF they had worked out, I would have been happy. But, they lasted only hours or days...

If one takes time (I'm retired, and have plenty of it!), good prices can be found on quality product. Searching to replace these, I ran across this:
T3S Bottom Feeding Clearomizer - Vices Electronic Cigarettes

Original Kanger T3s's for three bucks each - with shipping!!! (I ordered 5)

I have bought other things from these guys, and am quite happy with their prices and shipping.

If it doesn't leak, fires when you attatch it to a good battery and put juice in it, what on earth is the point of looking for Kanger stamps or no Kanger stamps on it?
Kanger are not like small time, hand crafted Mods, they're MAS PRODUCED and one mas produced clearo or 100 that are cpies, won't put Kanger on the dole!
I really don't understand what all the fuss is about if your clearos work as they should. So many on the market are copies, no one's dead from it, and Kanger are still getting rich.

Any way, all plastic tanks are potentially a danger if your juice has a corrosive product (for PC, not you :D ) and risk to melt into the juice you're vaping. It doesn't take much, just a hint of cinnamon, and you're vaping placcy juice.
Use GLASS. There are some reasonably priced, good glass pyrex clearos knocking about, BCC.
Try Aro 3ml from Smok (the only resistances that fit those are...Smok ones... lol!) or one of the others, it's much healthier than placcy vaping, believe me.
I found my juice was "glue like" and as it had spices in, and the tank, a MT3, was cloudy, I went over to a Glass Only regime.
We vape to reduce the risks, so lets reduce them the max possible :D

GLASS FOR CLEAN VAPING  My campaign :vapor:
