Help please with tobacco flavor

My hubby FINALLY is going to try to quit smoking and switch to vaping. Seems I have been a positive influence! hehehe

Anyway, he is a current PAD Marlboro Light smoker.....what can anyone recommend tastewise for him?
He is not going to want anything fruity....he has tried it from my PV and did not like it....although he did like either fire and ice or cinnabomb, but I can't remember which one I had in now (which I have to order more anyway, so I had better order a larger size if he is going to dip into MY stash!!).

My husband is a tobacco flavor enthusiast. I don't care for them much, personally. He says that his favorite is Oriental 4 and, according to him, it doesn't taste fruity or nutty. Max Ultimate is also one of his favorites. I can only speak for the Max Ultimate, but it's alright (to me, but I don't like tobacco flavors) and it has kind of a honey taste. My husband doesn't taste the honey, though. It might just be my taste buds.

An important thing to remember is that you just aren't going to be able to find a flavor that tastes like a cigarette. They taste terrible. No one makes an ash tray flavored e-juice, to my knowledge. Most tobacco flavors that I have tried or read reviews on have a sort of woodsy flavor. I suggest getting him a few different 5ml sample bottles. And remember to let them steep if they don't taste good at first.

You are right on the sample size. I just didn't even think of that.
I have some tobacco flavors that I bought in the classifieds on ECF, so he can start with something while steeping is taking place.

Good deal He says that his Max Ult. and Oriental are pretty much good to go as soon as they get here, but that's not always guaranteed. Good luck to your fella! I don't know how you managed to quit when he was smoking. That would have made me crave like crazy! My husband and I had to quit together or neither of us would be able to do it.

Honestly, I have no idea how I have been doing it with him smoking right there either! But then again, we go to the bar and it's not a problem there either. Every once in a while though, it bugs me. Last night was one of those nights and I really think when he saw how it was bothering me, he stopped his hemming and hawing on whether he should get an e-cig or not and told me to buy one for him.

In the past, we have tried to quit together, but then the problem would be he would come off the road (he does maintenance at power plants) and either I had caved or he did and pretty soon the other would too. We both tried everything under the sun....gum, lozenges, patches, chantix, wellbutrin....none of it worked. I am at 7 weeks now, so I think his seeing how I am doing and haven't killed any of the kids yet gave him some hope that it could work for him too. Plus a friend of ours bought a Blu and quit smoking too.

I ordered the Max Ultimate, Oriental and Virginia Blend for him to try.......and since I was in there a Fire & Ice for me.

I really hopes he takes to it too. And not just for me, but he honestly sounds HORRIBLE with his cough and always out of breath. Don't get me wrong, I had a smokers cough too, but NOTHING like he has. Although it has gotten better lately because he cut back alot (he was a 2 PAD and now down to 1....that I know of anyway) since I quit.

That's no good at all! Well hopefully he gives it a good try. I have seen a lot of people that didn't really give it a chance at all bc it wasn't the analog that they are use to. Plus side is that he has you for support!

And that was an issue with finding him a PV. At first he wanted something the same size as an analog, but then he saw a friend of ours using a Blu and liked that. So I wound up buying him a KR808. I was hoping he would want a 510 so if he ever ran into a bind and needed a carto or something, we would have the same threading (I have an eGo).
But if this is what he wanted, that was what I was going to get. I didn't push the issue for fear of pushing him out of the idea altogether.

I am thinking that since he knows 3 people that have quit analogs because they are now vaping, plus he has spotted a few vapers at the airports, that he knows it is doable.

Well, I like my PV because it looks nothing like an analog It gets a lot of attention and people ask me what it is. Then I get to show off and tell them all about how ecigs are so much more than that gas station crap. My big ego battery and the stone tank carto get the most attention, but my mom says it's because it looks like some sort of nefarious drug tool.
