Help please....

So as I said in my previous post I am new to vaping and looks like I am making all the newbie mistakes grrrr. I started with an evod then I learned you need to replace the coil assembly (yes I learned this with one little pen that no longer worked back to cigs). So we ordered 10 of them thinking we wont get caught again. To find out the pieces weren't the right size. So we ordered yet another evod pen and the vendor kindly sent us 2 extra coil. I was like great now we have 2 pens. Wrong they dont fit my original pen. I am at a loss here lol. How can I be sure I am buying the right size when there is no info at all on the pen. 2 pens that look identical but have two different coils.

Can you post a link to what you have? I always make sure my equipment has 510/ego threading first off. There are some with 808 or proprietary threading and these usually keep you stuck with that same co. and with a higher price tag. As far as heads/coils go I rebuild all of mine so haven't bought those in ages.

Just do a search for EVOD coil in google and you will see they are all over.

These are also pretty easy to rebuild as well.

I bought it on ebay the listing is no longer available but here is the info from the vendor. I bought the 3 in 1 starter kit. The user manual was barely in english with no real info about the parts.

Hubby is doing that as we speak. I just was surprised that the pens look identical and they just don't use the same coils. I also now have 10 coils i cant use guess we send them back get the right ones.

youve answered your own question I do believe. you have to buy coils for each individual tank, not the evod pen as a whole. I.E mt3 coils, ago coils, ego-d coils. a bit of googling will tell you what those translate into. As always with popular auction site its hit or miss if you even have a evod, or one of the many knockoffs that are on the market which potentially may not be compatable with all replacement coils of the same namesake.

If the evod tank is "just an evod" and not an evod2 then you need a single coil from kanger (or I guess generic, but I've never used them). The MT3 takes a single coil as well, but it is a single coil that works on the T3S and the MT3. Any of the double coils from kanger (for protank 3 or aerotank) will NOT work with what you have. The coils for the protank or protank2 will work with the evod but not the MT3.

I know this is a bit convoluted, but I hope it answered your question.

I'm sorry, I read your post wrong, I'm not sure that you actually have an evod tank. I'm unfamiliar with the "ago" or the "ego-d" but what I said about the MT3 should hold true.

What is on the package of the coils you bought?



Just looked and one vendor is saying they no longer carry MT3 coils but only MT3S coils but you can buy a MT3 to MT3S conversion base for like $2
