Help! Pretty sure my Itaste vv is a goner, but just in case.....

I've had my Itazte vv for about 8 months now ( bought new). Tonight while baking I noticed the display was on. I thought maybe I had set something on top of it, but no. 4 hours later and it is still on. Can't vape, doesn't charge. I'm hoping the battery will die and "reset" itself. Any insights would be welcome. My backup is crummy so if its a replacement I need, so be it.

Check the battery voltage;

"the display was on" is kind of vague. No error code? No menu?

I can't toggle the menu, it just says U5.0.

go to fastech and get a couple more and toss that one... You could also grab a couple mini protanks and a few tips and ..... well get it ordered. that dude is toast... Mine last about 6 months or so and they start doing goofy stuff. I just toss 'em. they are 20 bucks.

Try 8 or more fast clicks to reset. Worked once on the four of my wife's that died.

Seems like it's stuck on 5 volts.

Maybe a button is stuck pressed in.

Grab a mvp2. They are great little mods! You won't regret it for a second! Just got me a mvp2 shine and I don't know why I waited so long! I absolutely love it!
