Hey, fairly new to vaping but have already started rebuilding my T3 tanks. I had several T3's but am down to one now cause they have a habit of falling out of my shirt pocket and breaking. Bad news. My question is the pro tank much better? Is it easy to rebuild? Or should I stay with the T3 that I really like? Oh by the way, I do like some of the juices that a said to be bad for non Glass tanks. But the T3's that I broke really looked like glass to me but I did not pay that too much attention due to the fact that I was upset over notolny loosing my tank but the juice inside. lol (Not really)

The Protank is Glass so it will break also but I have yet to break one. I have dropped it but on carpet not concrete so I don't know how bad they are. I like the feed sys on the Protank which bottom feed. They are a bit airy but I don't mind. I don't like feeling like I'm sucking a golf ball up a garden hose. If you don't like the airy draw you can put an EVOD head in it and it will tighten up a bit. I love the Protank and Evod but the EVOD is plastic and it won't work on my Vamo because of the air hole being covered up. If you don't mind waiting you can get the Protank II which has a feature I like of being able to use a drip tip on it or you can go Puritank if you don't mind waiting for someone to get them in stock. Which ever go bottom feed. Only other atty I have that I like almost as much is my RDA IGO-W with a vape mate feed system on it.

I am partial to the T3 myself, after First Gen CE4 and a Kanger T2 (CE5 Clone), I moved to the T3 by recommendation of another vaper. I do have a Protank and a couple Evods. If you want to move that way, is your priority, though I keep my protank around just for plastic tank melting/cracking juices as well as a Pyrex SmokTek DCT. If you are already rebuilding first Gen T3/MT3 heads, rebuilding a protank or Evod head is much easier as you don't have to get down into the Ego Thread cup to nip off the excess wire of the legs. Protank, Evod, and the new generation T3S/MT3S, are extremely simple to rebuild because the head comes away from the base as a sepperate screw in piece, so if you like you T3, it is relatively cheap to upgrade them to T3S as the bases and heads can be bought sepperately and fit nicely into the first gen T3/MT3 tanks. The heads also can be used in a Protank and Evod, Protank and Evod heads can work in either Protanks or Evods, but they will not fit into the T3 tank, flange below the wick/coil are just a smidgen wider on the Protank and Evod heads compared to the T3S/MT3S. Gotvapes.com sells first gen T3 and MT3 tanks, T3S heads, and T3S bases sepperately as well as First and New Gen T3/MT3/T3S as whole units. If you are using your T3's on an Ego, Spinner, or Winder battery, might be time to invest in an Ego lanyard, has a collar that fits under the tank base at the buttom assembly, and attaches to a lanyard via a lobster claw clasp, save ya from busting more tanks ^_^
