Hi there am an old member, i only read through the forum and i always find what am looking for. This time i didnt find any answers!!
I bought a sigelei 150W 3 weeks ago from eciggity while i was in the states. It was working like a charm when suddenly it stopped firing
and it gives me the "SHORT!" Message on the screen!! No matter how i tried fixing that by cleaning the contacts, switching batts, recharging batts, using different tanks, rdas, rbas etc ..it still gives me that message! Looked on youtube for answers and i didnt find any!!
Please help as any kind of help is much appreciated..thx

Bummer, if you can't figure it out though Eciggity has awesome customer service and I have no doubt that they would take care of you by replacing the unit. I have had nothing but great experiences with them stepping up to make things right when an item I purchased from them was defective or went bad after minimal use. They take care of their customers. Good luck though with finding a fix as that would be a more desirable outcome. The only time my Sigelei 150 watt gives that message is when the resistance of my build is to low.

Well that sux. So, with no atomizer attached do you get the short message when hitting the fire button. Or does it say check atomizer? If it still says short with no atomizer attached then there is an honest short happening either at the 510 connector and the copper contact, or the wire from the board to the copper contact may be shorting somewhere in the box. The one bad thing about spring loaded self adjusting contacts is that they move when you screw down an atomizer. The pin even has the ability to spin with the positive contact from the atomizer potentially twisting the wire and possibly causing the wire to break at the solder joint. If you have a soldering iron and know much about electronics you may be able to open it up and fix any connection issue but you really can't tell what's going on without looking inside. I can't advocate doing this though unless you have no other option and you know what your doing.

Ghalaweesho, I'm sorry, I have built.box mods and know electronics but I have never opened a Sigelei beyond the battery door. I know that if hot glue is used then it can easily be removed.using rubbing alcohol. It gets between the surface and the glue allowing you to remove it with little to no effort. But i do not know how they put this.mod together. If you get it open please post some pictures for us to see and give a description of what you are facing.
