From What Ive read WTA contains carcinogens from tobacco as its not just nicotine but has other stuff from tobacco in it. For me that defeats the propose of vaping! I personally would not recommend this form of Liquid nor would I touch it with a 10ft pole!

Could you please post a link to where you read this information please?

I occasionally use WTA and am very interested in this.

Thanks in advance friend.

most people are sceptical until they try... then they won't give it back ;)

I find sometimes when i'm around a bunch of smokers I'll want an analogue, but when I have one its just not as good.

You know what is best for you. Don't give into the urge. Vape instead! In front of friends who smoke! The joke is on them. Right?

Your saying to a guy who smoked for 20 years "its the same as smoking" LOL.
Its the same as smoking just that you now have to find a ecig you like then spend time and money finding a flavor you like with a nic level you want. Then push a button to inhale and hope the battery is charged. Its not the same as just buying a pack of smokes and a lighter and burning one.
ECF need to remember how hard it is to quit
I didn't say it was the same as smoking. I said when you get to the point that you like it better than smoking, you are home free.

I'm new to the forum too, so this is very interesting reading for me.

I see a lot of people saying, "You really have to want to quit!" and I'm sure that was true for them. For me, though, it was exactly the opposite. I had to keep reminding myself that I really could have a cigarette any old time I wanted to, and that nobody could stop me. ("So there, you health freak .......s!")

Even now that I'm positively in love with vaping, and honestly think that tobacco cigarettes taste like dog hair and dust, I still keep a full pack of Camel filters in a drawer, never to be thrown away. If I take a couple of drags once a week, so what? No worse than stopping at a traffic light and being stuck behind a bus for two minutes, right?

Anyway, I guess I'm just a terribly stubborn person, and I really, really hate being told what to do. So, for me, vaping has to feel like a choice, every single time . . . Does that make sense? I dunno. It worked for me.

:)

So, yeah - good luck! If I could quit smoking with e cigs - I swear to God - anybody can.

That has always been my roommate's problem. I think the last tax increase has him thinking otherwise because he had me order him an ecig.

Just lending my support, I am in the same boat. For me, it's a few things. I hide my smokes from my kids (though I am sure they suspect...) and I also hide all my vaping stuff. it's stupid, I try to be honest with them but I'm just not able to say to them "yep, I smoke, but I am trying to quit by using this instead." There's more to it, but not with boring everyone with the details.

Anyways, I did great for about a week when I first got into it. I smoked a pack over a week, and thought I was on the right track. Then all my stuff got unorganized and I HATE not having stuff organized. Then my charger stopped working. Then I lent one of my volts to someone and he had it for a long time. That particular person smokes 2 packs a day and comes over frequently and said he was interested in the vaping but he isn't. He doesn't want to quit. So he is over here smoking with an extra pack ready at all times. Grrrr.

Including the above, I am just REALLY busy. I need to make it a priority and like someone just recently posted, just do it. We only have ourselves to blame, but it also doesn't do any good to be negative and beat ourselves up. Maybe we need a quit club thread started every so often for a group of quitters who need support? I haven't checked; that's probably already started.
