Help! Smoke coming out of Spinner when charging!

I just bought a Vision Spinner 2 clone (1100mah) and I tried to charge it on a standard Ego 5.0V/500mA charger. This is the same charger I use for my other Ego batteries (650mah).
The light on the switch stayed white for a few seconds and smoke started to come out of the switch! There was also a slight burnt smell. I immediately unplugged the battery from the charger and now I can't turn it off. I press 5 times on the button and it does not turn it off, the light is still on.
What is going on here? I know there is always a risk when buying clones, but I didn't expect this. Is it dangerous if the light stays on until it discharges completely? Should I try plugging it in the charger again?

Id throw it in the yard away from the house and away from where anyone walks and let it die outside. Smoking not good and you dont want a defective battery in your house

The light just turned off now, about 2hrs after unplugging it from the charger...
The charger is fine, but now I'm a little anxious about using it with other batts.

The price of those chargers isn't worth potentially damaging something or injuring yourself IMO, I would personally discard both the battery and charger and buy replacements.
