So my vape was working perfectly, and i had to replace the coils on my atlantis v2 and mega. After replacing i was getting a smaller vapour and massive throat hit, but it wasnt a complete dry hit, it just felt like a wicking problem. Loosening the coils from the base helped this, but vaping didnt feel the same. Clouds were still smaller but i wasnt concerned. I replaced the atlantis v2 with a new coil that mightv been 1 ohm instead of 0.5. My concern is that after i fire, i can still hear the crackling for a few seconds after i release my finger from the button, and condensation appears on the tank, something that would happen as my tank neared empty and i was about to get a dry hit. I am getting less vapour than before and am concerned about the delay after firing. Is this because i am using a 1 ohm coil? I am using the atlantis with a cf maxx battery.

I use 55.5 watts I know it's strange but it takes more wattage than the .5 I never go higher than 30 with the .5. Trust me on this one i know what im doing...oh and it's written on the coil. Hahaha

There is an Edit button in the lower left of your post for adding information. Saves on making several post to complete a thought.

Also please note, Watts is watts and has less to do with ohms used than system build.
A 1 ohm should run on less wattage but will normally produce less vapor/flavor is the same tank as a .5ohm coil.
The two Factory coils are made with different ga. wire and need to be controlled accordingly.
If the Mod can produce the proper wattage the coil should be working properly regardless of personal satisfaction.

* Note must also be taken as to Authentic replacement coils vs. Aftermarket Replacement coils. Manufacturing varies.

That's as maybe but I was talking to someone who would never understand all of your info unless you went to great lengths and step by step explanations on everything you just said. All he wanted was a decent vape. And all I wanted was to help him get that without confusing him and didn't really need you sort of embarrassing me by pointing out that I'm not the greatest at posting and not that experienced on forums. Would of appreciated a private message explaining about the edit button. But hey ho life goes on. Vape on. If I sound piss off I'm not I'm just saying is all.

1) Loosening Coil Head increases chances of erratic ohms fluctuation and poor performance.
2) Delayed Crackling might also be caused by coil overheating and slowed cooling
3) Increased Condensation indicates possible higher temperature fluctuation

Apologies to Jace75
