Here's the scoop, please help!!!:

Got suckered into GreenSmoke about 2wks ago, it was great for a first e-cigg, but I'm a perfectionist and wanted to see what else was out there - i wasn't completely satisfied. Too hard to get a drag, no throat hit and flavors were, eh.

So i bought the LeCig single starter kit.... not too happy there, but the customer service is amazing! The battery is very "airy" and the carts were not compatible with the V4L as they advertised on their website. Spoke w/ customer service and they sent a new battery no questions, fixed their website and even mentioned that if i still wanted a refund they would be more than happy to do their best to keep me happy. So i'm giving them a little more time to test out their product.

My last and final attempt came with Vapor4Life (bought the same time as LeCig), starter kit with the manual PCC.....OMG BECKY! I was hooked. Their manual battery is absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! so the next day, i went on and purchased an auto battery and a few flavors. Just received the auto battery today and I'm very disappointed. No vapor production, cartomizer (1 at least) is leaking... maybe its just a fluke battery. :(
So i emailed customer service, waiting to hear from them - although not too concerned, from what i hear about their customer service they aim to please. Anyway, does anyone else have this issue with the automatic batteries???

I ordered a set for myself yesterday to have the back up batteries, i requested that one of them be manual and one of them be auto.... would anyone be interested in switching one of my auto's for a manual??? I also ordered some flavors that I'm not too fond of, would anyone like to trade?

I'm just a little flustered! anyone have any advice? HELP HELP HELP!

I have a collection of manual and auto batteries but no automatic KR8 style ones. I prefer auto over manual in some situations and manual over auto in others. I've never really noticed too much of a difference between vapor production or flavor between the 2 styes. Actually I do, if I'm taking really long deep inhales I can hit the timer on some batteries, especially autos. But that's more of a got 3/4 of a good inhale vs. a good one way no bad another inhale like you describe.

Quick version. Sounds like a problem battery. It does happen. V4L is pretty good with customer service. Just email them and you should be set.

Once you get to 15 posts you can go over to the vender forum just for V4L but you're too new for that yet.

Try cleaning the connector end of the battery...just get a paper towel and a needle or toothpick and wipe around the center post and make sure ur holes arent cloged. Then wipe it with the paper towel.Ive got new kr808 batteries that have came clogged and it was really hard to draw any vapor from. Im not sure why but im thinking that while making the battery sum epoxy or jb weld or whatever they use cloggs it up sometimes.

thanks for the support guys! I love this forum, it has sooo much information that it can be overwhelming at times. Does anyone have any suggestions for flavors/ strengths?
Flavors..oi..you'll wish you hadn't asked - theres so many your head will spin. Check out the E Liquid Reviews sub forum, say the first 3 or 4 pages, and see whats 'popular' - go to the sites mentioned and browse their flavor sections and see if anything grabs your attention - this will be a long but hopefully not painful road. I'm still finding new flavors I love (and not..) and I havent actually NEEDED any juice for ages..I jsut can't resist sometimes lol.
As for strength of nic - that one should take you less time to work out. Again its subjective - like flavoring - but if you buy 2 or 3 strengths in a flavor you find you like (or at least don't hate) then you can mix n match if they aren't spot on.
Say you buy a 24mg caramel one (this is likely to be too high but its worth a shot), and it makes you dizzy (too high) so you have also bought a 12mg caramel one (same vendor, save on shipping and keep the falvor consistent) and it makes you want a cig (too low) you can then mix them on a 1:1 ratio so you have some more juice of between the 2.
If thats good to vape an you arent craving a smoke, thats your level.
If none of them stop you wanting to smoke you might need a slightly higher nic level - but personally I wouldn't recommend going TOO much over 24mg. A lot of vendors DO sell up to 36mg on the pre-mixed juices though.
Of course you can always buy 3 - one at 24, one at 18 and one at 12 and save mixing. I suggested caramel btw because you can mix thngs like that with tobaccos and coffee and it can make a nice 'new flavor'; saves wasting it.

I really dislike auto batteries. They just don't do it for me. The XL manual batteries from V4L are fantastic!

Juice flavors and strengths are so subjective that I hesitate to make any recommendations - you really need to try a few and see which ones you like. I will say that the new Chocolate Peppermint from V4L tastes exactly like a York Peppermint Patty. It's my new favorite flavor!
