So I bought the south beach premium starter mainly because I got it for 35$ with shipping. I don't smoke much but would rather vaporize and not pollute my body and the air. I was just wondering if there was a way to fill the carts that I get with it and also if there were cheaper fittings for this ecig. I read a few things that it may be a RN408 or something like that? Please help me out. If this helps female threads are on battery and male on atomizer.

I told you in the other thread

The atomizer looks like RN4081

Try RN4081 empty carts (cartridges for use with the atty) or cartomizers for use without the atty

Scroll down to RN4081 as 3-piece - does that look like what you have? It's fairly distinctive atty-wise
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-4-6-buying-your-first-e-cig-little-guys.html

When you look inside the cart is there stuffing? You drip e-juice in the stuffing until it is nicely dampened but not a puddle. Carts can be reused a long time though you may need to replace the stuffing.

RN4081 can also be used as a two-piece with RN4081 cartomizers. Cartomizers screw on instead of the atomizer, and with the soft-cap kind you can pop out the soft cap on the mouth end and see stuffing - put ejuice slowly all around the stuffing (not down the middle). Cartomizers can die or gets singed and then you throw it out.

if it is indeed Rn4081 then this is one place that sells stuff for it
http://azsmokefree.com/inc/searchresults?s=rn4081&ss=rn4081&n=172373

And one good e-juice vendor is
http://www.freedomsmokeusa.com/

And there are many more ejuice vendors

ok so with some reaserching, this south beach premium is infact an RN4081 rebrand...but alot of these rebranders put finer threads on them. So I cant actually buy RN4081 batteries and expect it to work on my charger but I can buy the carts and atomizers. So what Im going to do is just buy a KR808 from Electronicstix.com when I feel my batteries are ready to go.

To check prices elsewhere

for plain kits and parts
Litecigusa.net
VaporLeaf.com

for nice colors etc and prefilled cartos
Vapor4Life.com
BloogPlanet.com

And note - no matter what rebranders claim, a carto does not last as long as a pack of cigs. But if you refill or top off your carto with juice before it gets dry than you should be able to use one for days. You want soft-cap cartos for easy refilling. I think both kinds Vapor4Life sells are soft-cap. I don't know about elsewhere.

And get MANUAL batteries because they are more sealed on the end and cartos can leak a bit sometimes. With the carto off the battery, I add juice, then I blow through the mouth end a bit with a tissue on the threaded end to get out any loose juice then and clean/dry the threaded end well before putting it back on the battery.

Did I give you this link comparing them?
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...st-electronic-cigarette-first-time-vaper.html

In their standard lengths, the KR8's battery lasts longer (280mah vs 180mah) because more of KR8's length is its battery
KR8 shorty and 510 standard 180mah
KR8 standard and 510 mega (xl) 280mah
KR8 xl 380mah

And there are fat battery version of both with 6-8 hour battery life and option to use LR parts

If you get KR8 you will have to buy stuff more often - cartos (blank or prefilled) - cartos are about 1/5 the price of attys and you may get 1-14 uses out of carto.

If you get the 510 you can try its normal atty+cart combination or get blank cartos for it or a small selection of prefilled cartos here
Xpress 510 Cartomizers
And you can put a 510 to 808 adapter on it if you want to try KR808D-1 cartos

KR8 has a larger selection of prefilled cartos because it is a 2-piece unit - see carto sections on left here
Vapor4Life-Because it's your life - E-Cigarettes/Smoking Alternatives
With an adapter you can put a 510 atty on KR8 battery if you want to try 510 atty and carts

What are you looking for? If you are looking for bigger hit, then consider the fat battery version of 510, the Ego or Riva 510 because that gives you the option of low resistance attys

If you just want to try something different, try KR8 - that was my second

Hi Baker, just wanted to chime in. It looks like you are a mirror image of my "progression" in finding my groove.

I started with a 'poor' vendor, moved on to an 808, then to a wetbox and now an Ego LOL... But I still use them all in different ways.

To answer your question, yes - get an 808-510 adapter and some Boge 2.0 atomizers and a drip tip. I bought my atomizers (I wanted some back ups) from two places both of which were great. You are welcome to PM me if you want. Right now I have 808 pass throughs at my computers at home and work with 510 atomizers and drip tips and use them all day long.

Hope that helps.

I bought a LR dse901 atty since I read they fit 808. And I bought an aluminum drip tip since I heard getting a brass or conductor material can short the battery. Does that setup sound legit? Kr808d1 battery, Dse901 LR atty, aluminum drip tip, I got red & white eliquid (marb reds being what I smoked). I may invest in a passthrough for when I'm gaming in the future.
