Hey, I have a 510 with some Janty liquids working perfectly. Well one of my attys got a little weird on me, so I pulled out all the fibers from it, and washed it along with all 4 other attys I own in the sink with hot water. Well, now I have a major problem. Now, they all have this HORRIBLE acidic HARSH flavor that burns my throat and lungs if inhaled, and doesnt seem to go away. Also, sometimes it burns me with this harsh nastiness, but hardly any vapor comes out! WTF? anybody have a clue why this is happening to me? No it is not the primer, I had my attys working just fine before I "cleaned" them. I cant seem to get this to go away no matter what I do! I noticed there were weird fibers in the attys that were not from mu carts, I pulled them out.. could this be it?

Your PV does not need a Hemorrhoidectomy. The fibers were there for a reason.
Can you get BloodFarts from a Hemorrhoidectomy?:D
And yes, those fibers were there for a reason. They are (were) part of the wick rapped inside the coile that holds the juice when it gets vaporized. I don't know if taking that out will give you the harsh taste your getting but I'm pretty sure it won't work right anymore without it.

LOl!:D Yes those fibers are there for a reason. I took them out of one of mine when I first started. It doesn't work anymore for carts and topping off, but so far I can drip on it with no problems. Now if I see some hanging out I just trim them back with my little scissors.:) I imagine one could get BloodFarts from a Hemorroidectomy.8-o:D

Why would you pull those out or trim them? Especially AFTER knowing that they're supposed to be there.
I didn't know it was supposed to be in there when I first got mine and the wicking was sticking out all over and looking burnt up, just tried to get out the burnt pieces and it all came out. Oh well lesson learned. At least it still works for dripping.:) As far as trimming them, some of my new ones have the wicking sticking out way too far. I figure they didn't do a good job of trimming and tucking before being sent so I just carefully trim off some of the excess. Thankfully only a couple have came like this.:D

on one atty, the one that stopped working well, that wick crap got lodge i the coil, and it wouldn't work right, and tasted horrible. The Fibers Im talking about are not from the coil, they are right under the metal bridge
The coil is right under the metal bridge too with the wick (fibers) inside the coil.

We need to put a fork in this whole idea of removing the wicking material from the atomizers.

As far as what was wrong with your atomizers after cleaning them, I am guessing they were wet and you didn't let them dry enough, or put some juice in them after they were dry enough and let it soak up.

But then, not enough information was provided, so that's just a guess.
