Duncan, do that, if that is what you need to do, but just remember, if we do not separate ourselves from the smokers, and PV's become difficult to use and aquire because of legislation, you may find yourself kicked out of "said" doorway! No more pointing fingers, we are at the place now where we should eduacate, and convert smokers and inform non smokers we mean no harm. (Hope I don't sound like an alien)
Sorry I don't understand your comment, I can't see how educating SB's about their nonsensical plans makes us not seperating ourselves from the smokers, and why would we be in the doorway to start with? I won't stand within 5 metres of a smoker, I quit because I didn't want to kill myself so I certainly won't let anyone do it for me.
I'm not being confrontational please don't take me wrong, I just do not understand your point. I agree with educating and converting, but I do not agree with shying away from opportunities to stand up and be counted. We have nothing to be ashamed of and that is the sole reason why we should NOT let anyone think that we have anything to hide or any reason to be ashamed.
Lets not come down on smokers too hard. Most of us are a battery charge away from being one ourselves. Don't become one of 'those' ex-smokers.
Thanks Swedishfish, you said it for me!
I just don't want to justify what I do, by pointing the finger at somebody else, doing something, perceived as worse.

Either get rid of the smoking in the outside seating or offer non smoker free oxygen bar style oxygen masks and free healthcare.
