Help Switching From deKang to US Made Liquid

After much trial and error I finally had to face facts - that my beloved deKang Hilton was causing my daily headaches. I like sweet tobacco flavors so I tried a few samples from known US-made vendors and viola, headaches gone. I ordered 90 ml 80pg/20vg and have about 70 ml left.

The juice isn't quite like the sample although that's what I specifically requested. It seems really thick and dark and is gummying up my equipment. Plus, it tastes awful to me now. What can I do? Is it normal for small amount of vg to clog up an atty and cartoz so quickly? Can I make it thinner? Can I improve the taste?

I've read everything I can to locate the best, most trusted liquids. Ideally I want a clean, no hidden ingredients, US-made product that won't hurt my head, or break my bank. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks.

How long have you had this juice? Dekang is typically 100% PG or VG and is pretty thin. Which shouldn't be causing any clogging/wicking issues with either your cartos or atties. Although, it's hard to tell the age of Dekang juices most of the time since it's hard to tell how long it's been sitting on the shelf before you bought it.

It might or might not be expired at this point. You can make the juice thinner but, those tricks are usually reserved for VG or have a higher % of it. Hopefully, others will help you out in this department.

The headaches that your experiencing could be the result of PG allergies. Have you tried VG juices before? Anyways, here's some vendors for you to try out:

Being a smoker of 18+ years, I figured I'd need a tobacco flavor to ween me of my habit. Wrong - for me, at least (YMMV). I [eventually] found that I really like flavors that distance me even farther from the ol' ashtray.

I started out on tobacco flavors, but they just didn't seem to sit right. And certainly didn't taste anything like smoking did. So I started experimenting with sampler packs consisting of fruity flavors, coffee flavors, spices, and even menthol (NEVER smoked menthols unless it was last-resort).

But my current favorites right now are black licorice and Grandpa's Mix from TopVapor (Madvapes). Black licorice is what you'd expect it to be - almost exactly spot-on (to my taste buds, at least). But Granpa's was kind of weird at first - I couldn't really describe it initially, but a reviewer seemed to come close with describing it as "floral, yet fruity." Sounds bad, but it really wasn't. It's also crystal clear (black licorice being nearly clear), so using them in clear EMDCCs for a few days of constant vaping and they'll still look and taste good. Compared to using a very dark fluid for the same time period and the same type of carto looks like a handful of powdered coco mix was inadvertently mixed in... (I won't mention which one in particular since it was still good-tasting fluid despite the nasty looking carto).

EDIT: wow, went off on a review-sounding tangent there - sorry. I guess what I was trying to say was don't be afraid to pick up some samplers of different stuff. I found that Chinese liquid (specifically dekang, I think), doesn't sit well with me either. No probs at all with Mad Vapes or Awesome Vapor - other than buying some poorly labeled stuff locally, I haven't used anyone else besides those two.

BTW, Awesome Vapor has a sampler that you can choose 10 different flavors in 3mL sizes (30mL total) for $17.00 + shipping. That was my first leap into flavor experimenting and it was great!

My favorite tobacco are BWB Casablanca and RY4, hands down! They are just fantastic! Thick though - Get some CE2 Deluxe, Vision Deux, or the new Extreme (haven't tried the latest ones yet) from gotvapes and you should have no problem vaping these nice VG juices....
