Help! Tank threads broke off in my provari

viva bcc on my provari and I dropped it, threads are still in my provari and I cant seem to get them out. I tried a pencil eraser to try to unscrew it but no luck. anyone suggestions please!!!

Some folks have used needle nosed pliers to remove what's left of the base.

Amazingly enough, some have even used a potato to remove broken bases from their mods.

In the Provari subforums, someone mentioned wrapping a rubber band around an eraser to make the eraser method work.

If the drop caused the threads to jam against each other the eraser trick won't give you enough torque to get it out. If you have a very sharp, very small tool you may be able to manipulate the broken piece into releasing from being seized in the 510 connector and then try the eraser trick again.

Place a Flat blade screwdriver into the remaining threads of the connector and turn

Wad up part of a paper towel and stuff it down in there very tight then twist it out. You may need to use something small like a dental pick to get just a piece of of the metal to stick out just a little bit. The paper towel should catch on it. Then twist it out. You can dampen the paper towel too so that it really seats well inside the connection.

Spray just enough WD40 into the 510 hole but don't get a whole lot if any on the sides of the 510 fitting itself. Place a flat head screw driver down into the fitting. Build in JB Weld into the hole around on both sides of the flat head. Let sit long enough to cure then turn. This happened to a friend of mine last week and this is how he got his out.

I've broken cartos off of mine, leaving the threads stuck in there. I take the battery out and use a nail, toothpick or skewer to spin it out. Haven't had any issues with it being really stuck in there.
