I have an EGO X6, 1300mah variable voltage battery that is responding to my Realtank clearomizer agreeably. When they are screwed into each other (doesn't matter how charged it is), if I press the button, it gives me three red lights. I usually have my battery set in the middle, so the light is purple. When I press the button, it'll go from purple to three red blinks. This all started happening yesterday and I'm getting a tad frustrated. I've tried cleaning out my clearomizer, I've tried charging the battery, but as long as they're screwed in together, I get those three maddening blinking lights. Any suggestions?

Just a hunch here. Clean the contact surfaces between the tank and the 510/ego battery connection with some alcohol and a cotton-tip applicator (like a Q-Tip). Small amounts of e-liquid can accumulate there and discrupt the electrical connection.

Also make sure you are not over-tightening the tank onto the battery. The center pin in the 510 connector on the battery can become pushed into the battery housing to break the electrical connection. This center pin can be "teased up" with a nail file or small screwdriver.

Taken from another website: "About The EGO X6: The X6 is a stunning little introduction device to mods. It isn’t too small; a bit larger around than a standard eGo type device, and it isn’t as big as a common 18650 (battery) device either. This device is sort of in between. It offers a select variable voltage outputs, 3 of them matter of fact – 3.6, 3.8 and 4.2 volts.

These specific outputs can be toggled through the X6’s one and only button by pressing it down 5 times to cycle through Red (3.6v), Purple (3.8v) and Blue (4.2v). In addition to its larger size, it carries a step up in battery size as well, compared to a standard 1000mAh eGo battery. The X6 offers a respective 1300mAh battery capacity."

How old is your battery? Maybe it's not holding a charge? If it's flashing on Red, which according to the above, means that it's at the lower range of it's settings then maybe it won't take a charge anymore. Or maybe the clearomizer isn't making contact with the battery? (Just guessing).
Does it flash without the clearomizer attached?

Wow, in the time I typed this, two other posts were made ahead of me. :)
