Hi Steeldragon. I'm not going to suggest you do this, but I'll tell you what I did.

I had some regular 510 cartos, the kind you fill with a syringe and could not get them to thread into an adapter so I could use them on my 808 threaded Buzz.

A friend suggested gently filing down the threaded side of the carto with a metal nail file. File a small amount and try, file and try, go around the threads ... and it worked. I was able to save a lot of cartos that I was about to toss. The 510's are worth saving.

Perhaps it would be best to get some other opinions first, but like I said, this worked for me.

Something is going on with the threads on many cartos and atty's lately, not just Ikenvapes. What I do is keep an old 510 adapter and use it, and a pair of pliers, to clear the threads first. Then it fits the device I'm using it on at the time. I also do the same with the 808 threaded cartos that don't want to go on.

I just received the normal Platnium 510 cartomizers and It doesn't want to screw on an EM Riva 1100 battery, Is there something I am doing wrong or some tip that will help. scared to push to much because it is a new kit

Do they fit a different 510 connection than the Riva? I have some 801 attys (not IKV) that are not a true 9mm x 0.75 thread.
