So it appears I can buy a crate of oranges, thow out the oranges, and turn the crate over and start selling anywhere and be fine. For this I don't need a license, any special training or even a permit. If I'm homeless, the city will even help me turn over the crate.

Anybody want to buy a house?

 Totally true. Gotta love this city!

A friend of mine introduced me to one of his buddies tied into the whole vending scene in Austin. He recommended I partner up with some existing vendors to add the ecig line to the products they already sell. Makes a lot of sense since they've already got their spaces and equipment in place. Have to do some serious snooping around on that idea.

My son fixed me up with a handy dandy carrying case for my Riva 510.

Sometimes I would drop the darned thing or accidentially set off the button when carrying it around. Now all I have to do is slip this case into my pocket.

He just took an old eye glasses case and whittled down some foam we had lying around to fit the case. He then carved out indentions for the main unit and a couple of cartos.

Sweet!

One thing missing, a low priced durable tube mod. Something like a roughstack.

Also, you've named a lot of things that might get people there but, you need something to keep them coming back. Juice can help with that but, here are some suggestions.

DIY supplies - Everyone has some kind of bottles but, few carry things like graduated cylinders. Try to have some hard to find items in this area. A good line of flavors will help too.

A good selection of cartomizers and atomizers. Don't just stick to 510 or 808. Some good adapters to go along with this. Someone might decide they want to try something a little different. To get their business, you'll need to sell both the adapter and atomizer/cartomizer.

Generic batteries and chargers. I think this is the way things are going. Best to be ready for it.

Assuming you get established, start looking into mod parts. Madvapes is all by itself in this area and they are just about everyone's goto supplier.

Stay on the hunt for new and unique items. Make your site the one to come to for new stuff.

Keep your prices fair. Ship quick and make customer service your top priority.

I love your thinking Senor Rat. Not long after we finished our homework on the basic models we started looking into all types of accessories and mods. Man were we in for a big surprise.

Even items as simple as adapters vary wildly in price and quality, and lower price doesn't always mean lower quality. In short it takes a ton of work to sort out the posers from the real deal. Drip tips, plastic bottles, carrying cases and replacement parts like cones have all gone into a massive spreadsheet now. Who knew?

And mods are the real killer. It's super hard to know which direction to go, where to source parts, and which designs are going to suit people best. We need lots and lots of help in this department and sooner or later the puzzle pieces will fall into place. But my goodness, it takes a pretty big team to sort it all out.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate your comments. We pay very close attention when someone takes the time to nudge us along in the right direction. It's important and we know it. :toast:

There are quite a few startups on here. Most of them don't last. If I go on the site and see a few kits and some juice, I won't be going back neither will most people. Suggest you take a look at the more successful sites and see what they are doing.

Also as soon as you can get a forum on here. Read it every day.
