Peppermint Oil

Just wondering if anyone has used this

Loranns peppermint oil. I like a strong peppermint and this sounds like it would fit the bill, but since its an oil I'm not sure if its suitable for vaping.

If anyone has used this I would love to hear your experiences and/or recipes, and percentages used.

Yep. I've used it.

Strong stuff. I would suggest starting real low, like 1% and move up very slowly. A tiny dash of menthol can really kick it up to wow level too. EM can add a gum to candy shell effect depending on the amount added.

Only if your VG content is above 20%.

Then mix in at least equal amounts of mint oil and PGA if you have more VG, or if your VG holds the mint without dispersing. (You'll be able to see it.)

No, I don't pre dilute it.

Ya, don't go over 1% with Peppermint, unless you like strong minty tastes. I'm pretty sure what they're using is peppermint essential oil as it's really strong.

Well, I've finally gotten that peppermint blast that I crave. I have settled on 2% peppermint oil and 6% EM in a VG base. This is near perfect for me, I just wish I could get it a little sweeter. The obvious answer is to increase the amount of EM I'm using, but to be honest, I don't think I can really taste it as sweet. I've used it in higher percentages in other mixes, but I never get a sugary flavor. I do get a smoothing effect, if that makes sense. I enjoy that, but I feel like I would like to add a teaspoon or two of sugar to sweeten it up.

BTW- I'm getting a very satisfying peppermint blast as you might imagine @ 2%, but that's the way I like it. I'm a fan of Altoids and this is the closest I've gotten to that flavor.

So back to my question. Is there a different sweetener I could use that tastes more like sugar? Could it be that I'm not sensitive to EM? I would really like that sweetness that make your mouth water when you taste it.

Any suggestions.

BTW again - I guess I should mention that I'm using a pre-mixed EM solution in 10% PG purchased from ecigexpress.

For just sweet, try TPA's sucralose sweetener http://www.ecigexpress.com/flavoring-signature-flavors-c-16_25/sweetener-sucralose-select-size-p-701
In the alternative, you may want to try adding a sweet flavor: fruits like peach or pineapple, white chocolate, marshmallow, etc.
