Hey all. I started vaping using an eGo battery w/dual coil cartos and enjoy it. Curiosity over higher voltage vaping led me to getting a ProVari a week ago with some 3 ohm attys. The main juices I've been using in it are Geoff's Blend and Boba's Bounty. For these, the best mix of flavor and vapor seems to be around 4.6V for GB and 5V for BB but that only seems to last for the initial 5 or so drops and one more refill. After that, the flavor seems to get a bit of a burnt taste to it which can only be relieved temporarily by adding a few more drops which at that point is overfilling because I get some leakage. Am I doing something wrong here or just being too picky? If I didn't see many others loving 5V vaping, I'd think I was simply using too high of a voltage.

Also probably related, if I keep using the atty, after about 2 days I can see some gunk around the bridge that's next to impossible to pick out. Is that normal? Reading around, it seems people normally clean attys anywhere from weekly to monthly so seeing this after only a couple of days is surprising.

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

those a darker juices i presume ... ive only had trouble with darker juice when u put a few drops in let it sit upright for 15 seconds so the juice can make its way down to the coil yes you will have to clean regularly id buy a few atty and cycle them so that u can always have one going one ore two drying and a backup or two sounds extreme but u will like the fact u dont have to worry about ur atty or taste as long as the gunk is not affecting anything u r fine but once it does so 90+ percent isopropyl for a few minutes will fix it right up drop it in swish it around pulll it out let the iso run through a few times rinse with warm water and let it sit 24+ hrs u will be fine u can find packs of 5 atty at liberty flights fo cheap hope this helps
