Just started about 2 weeks ago vaping, just joined the site today :)

I have a Riva 510 w/LR atty from ivapes.net along w/drip tip. I was wondering a few things about dripping, I'm not sure of a few things...

- When I drip, am I supposed to be dropping the eliquid on that metal mesh looking thing that is sticking up in the atomizer?

- I've been using 3 drops - it looks like the liquid is also going around the edges of the atomizer, is this the right way...or am I overfilling?

- When the atomizer lights up orange, does that mean time for new liquid, or is that when you are supposed to vape? I have been trying to keep it wet with eliquid to prevent it from turning glowing orange.

- How do you know when to replace the lr atty? Does it just stop working?

- Are you supposed to see a little piece of what looks like cotton/string/rope below that wire mesh? There is a little bit of cotton I can see under that mesh...

Sorry 4 all the questions :)

YES

YES or more, keep it very wet

- How do you know when to replace the lr atty? Does it just stop working? yes or the performance starts lacking, you can do a dry burn or two, and also can wash it

- Are you supposed to see a little piece of what looks like cotton/string/rope below that wire mesh? There is a little bit of cotton I can see under that mesh...YES, it's the wick

to the first question: yes.
second:3 or 4 drops is plenty, when you arent getting any more flavor, its time to drip 3 or 4 more drops.

third:if the atomizers didnt heat up, you wouldn get any vapor. i wouldnt run it orange for a longer period of time altho it will turn in colorwhen it heats up a lot.

fourth: the atty just stops working when ....um...its not working? lol no vapor,no flavor, no nothing,

there can be cotton stuck under the mesh if you have used a cart on it before...its the filler thats in the cart and really doesnt matter. hope that helps.
