Absolutely love my new provari and the io6 Atty 2.5ohms eat taste at 5.6v. Been putting 3-4 drops of a port e liquid. After taking 3 or 4 good vape hits I seem to get this metallic taste add more drops seems to go away. If I lower the voltage I lose the great Thanks and vapor. I guess what I'm asking is this normal to be using this much liquid??

I prefer tanks because I think atty's use more liquid in general anyways and atty's cost way more than even my prepunched cartos. As for if its normal I dunno someone else should be able to help you with this

I do have cartos. As well 3ohm also bought from ikanvape forgot name of cart. Work great on the go but not as much throat hit or vape. Hope some one tells me I can make some kind of io6 tank.
If your running anything 2.5 ohm at 5.6 volts...hell ya, 3 to 4 drops will only get you 4-5 pulls! I have a Provari ajnd when I run a 510 4 ohm it nets only 5 or six pulls. I feel 2,5 ohm attys should top off at 4- 4.5 volts. just sayin...
A drip shield acts like a mini tank (kinda-sorta). The juice that leaks out past the connector is pulled back into the atty on the next draw.
The extra TH and cloud of vapor you get at higher voltages comes at a price. More vapor simply means that you used more juice.
That io6 hits peak performance @ 4.47v. Voltages higher than that have to rob Peter to pay Paul.
