I just got my black 4nine and I'm having tons of problems with it. Does anyone know which attys will fit on the top ring? I tried a stillare and trident clone from fasttech, but the atty won't screw on all the way and just free spins. I got an apo clone from vapor tech to screw on all the way, but the post is not long enough. I was really hoping that my black 4nine/stillare combo would work, but I think I might need to get another atty. Any help would be great. Thaks in advance.

Sorry I was going to post this in a 4nine thread but don't have permission yet

I don't have the black 4nine but I do have two stainless ones. I don't understand how your attys just free spin unless they're not threaded all the way up their 510 connector?
I have used Kayfuns (lite and mini) and Taifuns GTs with no issue. The use of button top batteries is almost mandatory.
What is issue with the magnets? The magnet with the lemur(?) Goes in the tube first lemur facing out, attach the other magnet to the bottom of the battery so it repels the first magnet and insert in tube.
One of my 4nines did come with the delrin bushing in the top cap not fuly tightened down, it's threaded. Make sure its fully tightened. Also I remember having to adjust the position of the magnet, the one that attaches to the battery, out so it made contact. Hopefully that helps!

I read on other threads that the 4nine from custom mod creations has a thinner top cap so its making some attys free spin. Unfortunately mine are like that. All of my attys do not have threading all the way up the 510 connector and has a small gap right below the bottom of the atty. Whenever I put a 18650 battery into the tube, the weight of the battery makes the switch touch spacer. I emailed Artemus and he told me to send him the switch and spacer for replacement, so hopefully that will solve that problem. I also ordered some n42 magnets from amazon, and the "upgraded" switch and top cap from focalecig. Hopefully the focalecig parts are interchangeable with the one I have, but for now my 4nine is just sitting pretty on the shelf.
