Mom needs a new battery and tank setup as her battery shot craps, and even though I originally got her a subohm tank, I think she would enjoy a MTL setup better.

Looking for a battery that has around 2500+ MAH and internal battery. I was leaning towards an Innokin CoolFire.

I'm more lost on the tanks. Needs to be good for MTL, and not interested in rebuilding. I know the Nautilus has been tried and true (that's what I've been using for the past year or two), but I've been having issues with leaking lately, and it seems like there are some newcomers to the field.

I've read about the Cubis as being a good contender. Between the two, which do you guys recommend, and what else is worth considering?

Thanks for the responses everyone. I should probably have mentioned we'd like to keep the setup under $100 so Provari is out.

Also should mention mom isn't a total noob, she's been vaping about four years. Started on an blu style setup, then onto MVP2, now with an MVP3 paired with Kanger Subtank. So she is used to changing coils and filling tanks etc., she just doesn't want to bother with rebuilding coils or external batteries.

I know there are moms that can cloudchase with the best of them, but we're both just MTL vapers, which is why I've realized that the Kanger Subtank setup was probably a bad choice for her.

The Icare is a really cool looking setup I might consider for a night at the bars, but I'd imagine with a 650mah battery she would need to carry three of them on her to get through a typical day.

Check out the Provari specials. They have had the 2.5's on sale for about $30 and some of the others are also on special. If you are talking higher ohm coils, the 2.5's with a button top battery should fit the bill. My main concern would be how long an internal battery set might be available under the deeming. If she could live with swapping and charging batteries in anything, you might be better off going for external batteries until things get sorted.

Tank Nautilus Mini
RTA Kayfun lite plus

Mod Istick Pico

Batteries

Samsung 25R 2,500 mah

LG HG2 3,000 mah

I use both the 25R and HG2. I prefer LG of the two.

I don't have a clue about tanks unless you buy the 2.0 ohm coils for the iSub Apex (pretty good for mouth to lung) or Aspire ET-S tanks (which doesn't hold enough liquid for me).

Now the battery on the other hand, I do recommend the coolfire IV plus. Its 3300mAh. Its a good sturdy little battery and can take a beating, I drop things alot.:sneaky::lol: I've had mine since the beginning of May... Not one single issue out of it, love it.

About a year ago, I got my mom, now 82, an eLeaf istick 30w, a couple Nautilus Mini tanks and some 18mg Halo Turkish Tobacco & Torgue 56 juice. This setup got her off the stinkies the 1st day. BTW, she's still using & loving it. I think the eLeaf Pico would be a good choice as well. Hmmm, she's got a birthday coming up. Maybe I'll get her one... :D

I'm probably about your Mom's age, if not maybe even older than she is, and I'm a "tootle puffer" - no high watts, no sub-ohm, etc.. I agree with the Coolfire IV Plus recommended above. I love mine! Of course I also love my MVP 2.0's, MVP 20W's, and others, too.

I've also been recently hit with the Provari "bug", and have bought several of the 2.5 version from their "Specials" sale page in the last 5 months. Can't beat $29.95-$34.95 for them, and many now come with the usual $6 optional extension cap...for FREE!

Specials of the week - (4) that are now $29.95 and (2) that are $34.95

ProVari Regular & Mini Variable Voltage Ecig: Best Variable Voltage E Cig Available! More 2.5 and 2.5 Mini - (1) that's $29.95 and (8) that are $39.95

I'm not big on changing batteries and charging them either, but I figured with their reputation for super durability, service, etc...I'd go for it, especially for stocking up for the future. I'll always be able to vape with what I've got now.

As far as tanks...I like using the ProTanks, Aerotanks, Innokin 16D clearomizers, etc. Also have several SubTank Mini's, Kayfun Lite+, several RDA, etc. But prefer not to have to make coils...yet anyway.

Have you asked HER what she'd like? Has she had a chance to check any new ones out?
