Help with a "starter kit"

So I bought a ggts a little over half a year ago and only used it for about 2 months, now I would like to start using it again but want an avs as well. I think I have one of the first generation ggts and would like to know what I need to buy in order to use it with an avs with a "control ring" I think. Any help would be much appreciated.
