Hey, this is my first post hence why it is here.

I have an ileaf istick 50watt modd with a stargate subohm tank that is for 30-50watts.

When I vape on the tank the liquid bubbles up onto my tongue, which tastes horrible. This is taking a fast draw as well. I have not used the tank much, is this something that can go away? I need help fixing this problem
uh it will come I suspect it seems to me it took me a little while to figure out a few things I have a fifty stick and use a nautilaus mini ( really disliked the mini and refused to use it in the beginning -had batch of bad coils I now think) used a little evod top and played with the settings on the battery I think some of my own issues was in how I vaped I sort of vaped like I smoked -chain smoker it took me awhile to slow down and savour the puff. I also think for me I was always hitting the fire button too soon or not soon enough - IMO there is a bit of a learning curve in vaping. things I have learned some juice tastes great at 70 pg and 50 vg other times I like 50 50 and I even tried a max juice which was 90 vg 20 pg I like flavour pg apparently carries flavour better but I think it makes a tickle in my throat so I use 50/50 it is kind of fun experimenting what works for you. to me the look of my equipment matters :) weird but I love the colour of my Istick unfortunately it is slippery so I bought a silicon covering . I love that I HAVE control over different elements to make the vape more enjoyable , I also played with my nic content sometimes getting 18 mg per ml other times 12 and sometimes mixing them together-have fun with it I think the saying is if it works for you it is the right way

I really, at this point, only understand the mg on the bottle where i have one saying 12mg and the other 16mg. I'm not sure what vg or pg is
pg is propylene glycol it is thinner and vg is vegetable glycerine it is thicker and makes bigger clouds juices come in various percentages of pg/vg ratios plus nic oh I also sometimes prefer vaping plain which is pg/vg and nic without any flavouring at all

Erm.. Lung hit does not mean no throat hit. In fact.. With a lung hit there's usually a lot more throat hit, because the vapor is going down your throat hotter than it would be if you held it in your mouth and THEN inhaled into your lungs (mouth to lung).

Additionally, I can't take a 10 second hit on my Subtank @ 20W. I'll absolutely burn the head because there's no way in heck the wicks can get juice to the coil in that time/at that temperature. I am using the slightly older OCC heads, but I don't know anyone who's taking comfortable 10 second hits on a Subtank.

Before, on my 2.1ohm tanks i could only feel it in the back of my throat. I had to usually get it in my mouth then inhale again. This now just goes straight into my lungs, unless i try really hard to keep it in my mouth.

I think my friend has a really low nicotine level in his, they taste better to me. my lungs kindof burn but on his it takes much longer. Also at around 8 seconds it would get hot

Higher nicotine levels will produce more throat hit, the burning sensation you are feeling. So even if you are vaping the same exact brand of juice, but at a higher nicotine level, you will feel it more. Your preferences will change over time. When I started vaping 5 months ago, I liked the throat hit that I got from vaping 24 mg juice. But now when I am subohming, I prefer as little throat hit as possible. I prefer the smoothness of vaping 6 mg juice that is high in VG. The juices that I use now, the lowest VG level that I have is 60VG/40PG and it goes all the way up to 90VG/10PG.

I have an arctic subtank running the .2 ohm coils and i mostly use rda's and let me just say a subtank gets that vaper hot as a fire cracker lol. I can rarely take a 5 sec hit bc it gets way to hot.
