Hello guys. Im new to advanced vaping and have just upgraded from a twist fitted with a Nova to a Vmax V5 fitted with a Protank 3

Basically I'm looking for a new tank and have a mediocre budget however I'm confused of all the abbreviations and differences between all the different types of tank and technologies. Coil Heads, Atomisers, Genesis, clearomisers, cartomisers, dripping etc...

I was hoping that somebody could help me to pick up on all the different types of tank, how they work and what the best way to go is. Up until now I have simply purchased replacement coil heads when required, first top coils with the Nova and now bottom coils with the Protank. I have only just picked up on the whole dual coil thing and would love it if somebody could help me to learn the different technologies, how they work and so on....

Thanks guys...

I am personally not a fan of RBA's

but here is an excellent start (the P stands for Pheel)

pbusardo genesis - YouTube

pbusardo - YouTube

and

VapinGreek - YouTube

I have an AGA-T+ that I keep in a drawer and pull out whenever I don't feel frustrated enough with life

but if you feel you have to try a genesis style RBA get a smok RSST

I rebuild all of my Protank 1 and 2 heads and have some inexpensive RDA's (rebuildable drippers) that work very well with minimum frustration

Most rebuildable tanks (genesis style anyway) are a pain to build and use (yes they leak if they are not kept upright, yes you get dry hits if you do not do the "tip", or if you chain vape)

Good luck

This should help some with a definition of different juice attachments:

Proper Terminology: Is it a carto, a tank, or What?

Here's a description of moving from cigalike starter kits to the intermediate Ego system and then up to APV's (advanced personal vaporizors) including mechanical mods, regulated mods, and bottom feeder mods.

Advancing Up the Vaping Ladder with Ego's & Mods

Since you have advanced up to a regulated mod using replaceable rechargeable batteries, it becomes important to know the difference of the batteries available:

Battery Basics for Mods: IMR or Protected ICR?

Should you consider trying one of the rebuildables, the following should give you a strong foundation of knowledge required:

any proper set up rba(rebuildable atomizers) (you make your own wick and coils, rather then buying them) would be the next step pass a vivi nova or protank in my honest opinion. you can start honing the skill it takes to rebuild with the protank or vivnova all it takes is some kanthal wire, wick material and a ohm meter or a apv that has that feature.

my personal favorites for rba's are the kayfun(my at home every so often tank) and aga-t2(my all day tank). Rba's require so fiddling but once you get good at it they can be beaten imho. My wife how ever prefers the vivinova that i keep rebuilding for her
