Help with coil for kayfun lite on a itaste vtr

Ok so I have been reading everything I can on coil building and batteries and wire and ohms and so on, my heads starting to hurt lol.

So the vtr is vw/vv, 3-15w and 3-6v. My battery is an efest 2000mah 10c and I'm using 28g kanthal a1 wire. The vtr will fire down to .6 ohms.


I need help finding a good coil for a fairly strong throat hit and pretty good vapor cloud.
Any recommendations on a coil build for me? I currently have a 7 wrap single coil coming in at 1.2ohms, the cloud is just average but taste is muted no mater what w I'm at

Pretty much 'nuff said on the post above mine. Kayfuns will do just fine in the 1.2-2.0 ohm range. I usually build either 30ga 1/16 ID microcoils at 1.8 ohm, or twisted 32ga 1/16 ID at 1.4 ohm for mine. Pay particular attention to the height of the coil above the build deck. It makes a difference in TH and vapor production. Start with the bottom of the coil in line with the tops of the + and - screws. If the coil is too close to the airflow inlet, you will get little vapor, and not good taste; kind of like when you don't have your coils lined up with airflow holes on an RDA. Good luck.
