Hi, been vaping with a 20w curve for a while now no problem but even when I change my coil, the juice is going brown really quick. I've cleaned the tank and the threads on the coil etc. Can I clean the actual coil to stop this happening and, if so how do I do it. Is there a link somewhere? I'm usually vaping pineapple, tropical fruit or cherry if that makes a difference.

Yes djsvapour, I bought the kit from TW. The juice goes brown in lesx than a day. I've changed the coil tonight and cleaned the whole thing till it's sparklingly clean. I only changed the coil 48hrs ago. I'm using the larger tank, I think it's 2.5 mls.

I can confidently say tank cleaning is not essential. I only flush the tank with warm water when I change the coil.... for example, I changed my sub-ohm subtank this morning after weeks and weeks.
I suspect there are two things at work here.
1. Some TW liquids can be very heavy... a few of their flavours use crazy amounts of flavouring. I'd rather vape something made with 10% flavour than 25% flavour.
2. The tank itself uses a certain type of atomizer/coil design. Not all designs are the same (obviously) and the ones that have the least liquid going back into the tank will run the cleanest. The CS Air tank is an eleaf GS air tank. The atomizers are not as good as some I can think off.
However, these worries are quite common with most vaping tanks.
How much are you paying for the replacements? How long do they last?
Does the liquid stay 'cleaner' when the atomiser head is new?

Oh, that is bad. 48 hours.. you can't afford that sort of nonsense.

I run citrus in mini Nautilus and it's not until the 2nd week I notice darkening of the liquid.

Maybe it's the type of flavours?

Djsvapous, I bought 4 from TW and 4 from TECC. I have to say the TECC ones are performing better. The juice I the photo is lemon and lime and is a bit darker than some to start with but the tropical fruit and the pineapple which is my favourite are very pale. I'm starting to think it may be the TW coils. The original coil it came with lasted aaaages. This has just been since I changed it.

Sadly, annyvials, there is no difference between TECC and TW. They are are sister companies, and connected to the Joyetech (and eleaf) world-wide business.

I don't shop at Totally Wicked online (shop prices at an online store, really?) BUT I do support the town shops sometimes.

To give you some idea - I pay £9 for 5 Aspire BVC coils and they are nearly twice as expensive for the shops to buy. The genuine GS coils cost about 65p each for the shops to buy. £11.99 for 4 is a travesty... really. You can do better.

Welcome Anny....

What settings are you using when you run your different flavors? To the other gents' points above, each juice may vape differently. Just because you are running a 2 ohm coil at 8W (all for example's sake) with a specific tank doesn't mean you can do that with just any flavored juice. I find that darker/sweeter juices work better (for me) at slightly lower power, even if I'm using the same head with a different flavored juice.

I find that when my juice starts darkening substantially, I'll often also notice a slightly burnt taste - tells me I'm running that too hot.

I have also noticed nic oxidation contributes to juice darkening (but usually not within 24-48 hours....)

Hope you find some success....

Cheers

We have a shop in our town called Phoenix which I gather there are a few of around. Do you think I'd be able to get them there. I'm off to Scarborough and Edinburgh this week. I might have a look there.

I know of Phoenix too, they make some excellent liquids. BEWARE their prices on tanks though... much too expensive....
Just so you know... things like replacement atomizers are silly money, they should be ashamed of themselves. £14.96 for 5 BVC heads.
They are charging the same (£14.96) for 5 evod/protank replacement heads. Last time I bought some, I paid £6. SIX quid. That is outrageous.

If you are unhappy with your CS (GS eleaf) tank, you should consider getting a new tank which is a) at least as good and b) has coils you can buy online for minimum expense.

If you are vaping at the lowest setting on the Curve, you might even be able to consider an "old" Innokin clearomiser... cheap as chips to buy and replace the atomizers.
Do you play around with the air-flow setting on the tank? The only bad thing about the old Innokins is the tight airflow.

Anyway, I'm probably boring you now... just be careful, please. So many shops are just after your money until they all go out of business in 2016, when it will all be banned.
Totally Wicked will survive, but I think we'll be down to less than 10 flavours and liquid will be really expensive too.
