You want the flat (negative) end of the battery in the bottom of the tube. It's a good rule that the flat end always goes against the spring.

The cartos that came with that kit should hold around 1ml of liquid. Slowly add some drops until the stuffing in the carto won't hold anymore (forgot to mention, remove the white rubber cap). If it starts leaking out the bottom you know it's full (it takes a few tries to get them full without leaking). Wait a few minutes, give it a blow on a paper towel to get the liquid out of the center tube and vape away. Do a search on here and youtube for how to fill cartos, it will make much more sense if you watch a video showing how it's done.

edit: Ignore the liquid feeder comment for now. That has nothing to do with the setup that you have.

Just like mine although from a different vendor . . . you'll love it!

It looks like they sent you 1.5 mil cartomizers, so take the small white stopper, if there is one, out from the end opposite of the threads and drop in your e-liquid around the edges. It'll take a few minutes, resting between rounds to let the liquid absorb down into the filler material. You should be able to get a good 20 to 25 drops in the carto before its filled completely. Drop size does vary though. If you see any come through the threads, definitely stop. Wipe the threads off really well, turn the cartomizer into a napkin and gently blow on the threads to clear the excess out.

Gently screw the carto on the battery, put on your mouth piece and press the button to hear a sizzle, and hopefully not a gurgle.

The battery inserts with the "button" up towards the switch.

Let us know how it's going.

sounds good guys, thanks for the help. Now, does the whole inside need to be wet for it to work properly? I just don't want to add too much, nom sayin?

If you get too much it will blow out. In fact it may be a good Idea to put a bit too much and blow it out till you get the hang of it. You may lose a few drops of juice but won't burn the carto. Once burnt you may as well throw it away.

The eGo-E-Power is different than the regular E-Powers. For the eGo-EPower the battery is inserted from the bottom, + side up.

Yeah its def better to overfill alittle and then just blow out and clear the airtube, then to underfill and ruin the carto and burn it.
For cartos that big, I HIGHLY recommend using a syringe to fill them. They hold a LOT of juice, and it would be fairly easy to burn them bc you thought you put enough juice when you really didnt

Whew! that's strong. I do enjoy it pretty thoroughly already, but is it supposed to hit the throat so hard? I have a PG 18mg spearmint e-liquid.
Otherwise, it's working great! thank you so much, I've been hassling around with this product for quite some time. and it stressed me out. No longer.
:vapor:

I started with 18mg PG and about gagged... It does hit hard... The mint probably intensifies that hit a bit.

You WILL get used to it.

Or you could wuss out and go to 100% VG... Like I did ;) lol

Less throat hit, but less flavor... More vapor though, so its a trade off.

I can vape PG now no problem, I just prefer the vapor output from VG.

You will LOVE the consistancy and dependabilty of the eGo e-power!! I've always used a little VG in my juice and you may want to add a little to calm that TH, but then again, you may just want to lighten up on the spearmint. I don't use nearly as much "mint" with the e-power to get my mild menthol taste.

I agree you may want to start using a syringe to fill your cartos. It does go much faster. I've learned though not to push the syringe down into the filler. It seems to make them harden faster. Now that you have a good, consistant power PV, you'll enjoy learning the little tips and tricks to make vaping even more simple.

You've got high-powered batteries, so take care of them and be sure you put them in the charger correctly. It's hard to read the positive and negative markings on it, but the flat part of the battery goes against the flat spring-loaded end of the charger. And always let the battery rest a bit after taking it off charge. Just one of those little extra safety precautions I've read in the other forum pages that is simple enough to make routine.

Best of luck!!!!!! And I'm glad you have it rock'n and roll'n!!

There are a number of variables you'll find to play around with to control throat hit, vapor production, warmth, flavor, etc. I don't know what the carto resistance is but I'm guessing they are LR... probably 1.7 ohms or so. I'm thinking with that PV you could vape from 1.5 -3.0 ohms safely in either single or dual coil cartos or attys. I'd suggest trying a few different ones to see what you like best, and different PG/VG ratios, different nic levels, etc (sample sizes in the juices). Think of the money you're spending as an educational expense and allocate it wisely, then just enjoy your classes. I think you'll love your E-Power. Happy Vaping! :vapor:

I never noticed these last posts guys. thank you for the tips! I have gotten a bit used to it already, although I do see myself upping the VG to check that out. But yeah, it has been rock'n and roll'n pretty well. Haven't had a need for a cigarette since I got it pumping. I think I might go for some house blend by copper creek. Apparently that is the bomb diggity from what I've been rading. I suppose I'll go 30mL, 6mg, 60/40?

Yep! Now that you have a consistant system, it's time to play with the liquid. I've had some hits AND some misses. I'd recommend you try a new flavor and/or a new vendor with no more than 10 mil bottles. That way if its a miss, you want be out so much and if its a hit, you can order the 30. Out of my last 3-bottle trial, I had one hit, one major miss, and one "ok". Taste is SO personal, all the rave reviews in the world aren't going to work for everyone.

Now go and have some shopping FUN!!

EDIT: Make trial runs on the nic strength too. Now that you're rolling at analog free, you certainly don't want the cravings to sneak back in. You can always mix different strengths together to get something in the middle-ranges.

Have fun!!
